Sweet Joe was one of the nicest guys I ever met. I was lucky enough to take him to dinner, talk with him on the phone after 9/11, share some personal conversation time with him, and sing with him on two different occasions. He was simply one of the most beautiful souls I have ever met. I still miss you, my friend.

In my record collecting career, I bought only albums from two vocal groups, the Rolling Stones and The Persuasions. If I had to do it all over again, I would still by the same albums by the same two groups. I met this group when they sang in Charlotte NC in the 80s and love them, they sign the albums I had .
