Thanks Alex for this demonstration. Im here with a full 40 min album where the multitrack dont exist and need to do an Atmos version. I have the two track master mix so better position than a 45. I hope I can tweak some more separation in ripx before adding the stems. Thanks for the reverb tricks - which multich verb do you use in PT?
RipX is a great tool, but a relatively old demix algorithm used by it. (often very good for bass separation though). I offer an Atmos-specific demix service using some considerably cleaner stem separation if you're interested.
@@DolbyAtmosMixing i think mixing in atmos works great, even mastering (with hornet samp). maybe you could do a video about the samp. what we need in logic is something like the dolby assembler. the lufs measurment is a bit awkward, because we have to swith the dolby plugin to 5.1 and listen to the whole song in 5.1. (which is a p.i.t.a)! a logic-upmix plugin would be great (like the penteo or halo).
@@DolbyAtmosMixing Hi, I'm a bit confused about how I can recreate the idea of a big and heavy-centered bass that can translate on every display. I usually put in on bed inside the center of the room (so that all the speaker except the rears plays it); is there any better place to recreate the energy of the stereo-mix bass?
Great job, Alex. RIP X is wild.
Thanks man. I’m testing out their latest release - RIP X DAW
your smile when you dropped the verb on the vocals shows how much you love this stuff... I'm smiling right along as well.
FANTASTIC Bruh ! Thanks for the knowledge Alex.
very good demo of this product
Very cool just shows you what you can do with tech on a stereo file
Hey Alex, where can I listen to music mixed by you?

Very cool video and tool, would be nice to compare RipX to Spectralayers and Serato Studio, I’m curious 😮
excepcional maestro!
Do more videos in Logic!
Are there any particular pain points you’re experiencing with Mixing Immersive in Logic?

Only the highly trained ear could differentiate that mix from the original
