Now I feel immense sadness. Time waits for nobody. The concept of time is incomprehensible to me. Technically, everything has already happened, and I’m at my death bed. What does death even feel like? How does your consciousness just… stop happening? What do you even feel? The more I think about this, the more I fear death. I probably shouldn’t be thinking about this kind of stuff. It can’t be good for me. I’ve never wanted reincarnation to be real this much.

I’m still an atheist I just feel like what do I live for and could there be more. Plus other ways to think about it is your immortalising yourself through your children also another way I look at it is I won’t know I’m dead so why worry
@@insert_username_here Death is apart of the natural process of life, their is no need to be worried. There may be a life after this but it is best to leave it unknown, never focus on it too deeply. Just enjoy the life you have been given.
Why would you want to refuse the course of nature? That is the last mystery and lesson life can give to you and there is no resisting it, it happens to everyone. Best to live a noble and honest life and the fear of death will go away to a substantial degree. Best to look at life as the ultimate teacher/god, you split from your source creator at birth to enter this world.
As you get old you become wiser and eventually return to life in your true essence to your source creator. life is just a cycle of the universe experiencing itself in order for it to expand and manifest in a material plane of existence (aka life).
There is a reoccurring set of ideas and dogmas in humanities history and religions and one of the most important and significant is the idea of a divine heaven and a “Christ consciousness”. The idea that there is a eternal benevolent divine source. The idea is that this is where the soul/spirit comes from and where you go back to after death. The idea that the great sages believed is that life is just a set of challenges meant to invigorate and individualize the spirit and that after enlightenment/nirvana is reached is that the soul may have an option upon returning to its source creator or existing throughout the cosmos as a spirit, deity, etc
@@spqrapollo what scares me is what it’s like after death. When our brains eventually stop all activity, what do we do? As in, how does this feel, does time still progress forward for us? What does this death look like? It’s all a complete mystery, and I get existential dread every time I think about it.

I remember vividly.
I became friends with this girl from another city when I was 13. We met on a Minecraft server (sounds stupid, right?), and really enjoyed each other's company. After a while we finally met in real life in an amusement park and she was the embodiment of perfect (in the eyes of a 13-year-old me). After some time, everything went downhill. It was weird, we just stopped talking out of the blue, she got new friends and I... not so much.
Four years flew by and I still thought of her occasionally. I was in the 2nd year of High School here in Finland, and my social life wasn't all that amazing. Had a few childhood friends still hanging around. No friends in school. Usually I spent the time after school playing videogames alone. Sometimes I played Fortnite with a friend who stuck around from that Minecraft server. Suddenly one night my friend asked if his buddy could tag along and come play with us. Yeah, sure, whatever, let's go. You can only imagine how I felt when his "buddy" joined the call and I realized it was her.
We started talking again. In a week's time we met in real life again. In her hometown. I fell in love again and so did she. Was this destiny? I didn't know, but I was the happiest I'd ever been.
A year went by, and we broke up. She felt that she needed space and I was not going to drag her with me unwillingly. History repeated itself. I miss her so god damn much.
This song reminds me so much of her. We used to listen to Home when hanging around and I vividly remember listening to Resonance in the winter with her in my room, just before christmas. Thanks for making this mix, it revokes many memories, both good and bad. ❤

This makes me feel like I’m missing out on so many late night adventures & fun with friends who make life worth living for. Hopefully I get to experience that.
Same. I live on a small island, and my school is international so people from all over come to it. But because I live so far away it’s hard to hangout with them sometimes. In reality I want to go to a drive thru at night and have a photoshoot in the parking lot, go to a mall and take silly photos. Walk into a movie theatre dressed like a full blown celebrity with my friends and just have a blast. But here I am, writing this in the comfort of my own home during summer break not able to do so much on my own, no car or bicycle or anything. It just makes me feel like I’ll have to wait for those dreams until I’m in college, but I just don’t want to waste time.

It's amazing how something like this can really hit a person hard. Depending on what you've gone through, or what you're going through. It's just sound, it's just an instrumental. But I feel like this music understands me more than family would. Makes me want to walk and keep walking.

The only one that was fast was the A70 the toyota supra mk3 with 231 hp that could reach 140mph from 6.1 seconds to 60 mph. Then the 2jz was introduced in the supra mk4 aka A80 and blew every japanese car to the dust.
And also the 80s in every country every place in the world wasnt good or fun. Sure u had one of those days of chill but most of the days it was hard work with wars all of the place, economical problems, drug rise etc.

Today: 21:04:2022 - Morning 7:15am Queenstown NZ ; Nobody in the bus, Autumn Season Sunrise with the morning fog, Coloured Trees ; me, the headset and the music. Just beautiful
POV: You're driving on a rainy night heading out of the city with no other cars in sight, when you stop at a desolate gas station to pick up some food. When you walk in the cashier perks up, and says "You're our first customer, welcome!" You nod and go about looking for something to eat. The cashier continues talking saying "People only stop here if they have something to run away from. That's the reason I work here, to hide from the past." You walk up to the check out and look at the cashier, saying "I'm not running from anything" as you buy what you had picked out. As you leave the cashier says "That's what everyone says, they never know that they are running". You get back in your car and start to drive again. Considerable amount of time has passed when you realize you ran out of food. You pull into another gas station and walk in. You hear a familiar voice say "Welcome back! Figure out what you are running from?" You stare in shock at the cashier, the same one from before. You finally spit out "What? How are you here? I've been driving for hours and not another car has been seen since!" You quickly forget the food and rush out the door and back into your car. You continue driving and you don't see another gas station for hours. By now you have been driving for almost 24 hours. You see a finally see a gas station and pull in. You look and see the same cashier sitting at the counter, but walk in anyway. The cashier says "It sure has been raining a long time, huh? I wonder when the sun will rise" You stop and immediately turn to look out the windows of the station. It was still the same time you had left the city. **But I've been driving for almost an entire day, how is it still the same time** you think to yourself. "Wondering why time hasn't moved?" You spin and look at the cashier "It's because you don't know why you're running". You sputter out "B-but I'm not running from anything!!". The cashier sighs and looks down, saying "If you don't realize it soon, you'll end up running a station like this". You pause and say "Wait, you were like me?" The cashier looks back at you and says "Yeah, the running turns into hiding, and I still don't know what I'm hiding from". You buy more food and go back to driving on the lonely road. You soon realize you have to go to work. You see your station and pull in, just as it starts to rain. You wait for hours until someone finally pulls into your desolate gas station. You perk up and say "You're out first customer, welcome!"

Sucks? This might be the best short story I've ever read. The fact that I ran into it in a RUclips comment section shows that good literature (or any other form of art) can come from anywhere and anyone. I loved how you took the idea of stopping at a gas station and combined it with the theme of running away from something. They fit really well together and it was a really touching story that was really easy to understand. You made it long enough that I can tell you put a lot of effort into it, without even knowing if anyone would see it. From one writer to another, nice job!

I prefer the night over day, because to me it's a better time to feel and disconnect from reality. The streets here are quiet with no cars going by, so it feels like time has stopped. This song can make you feel all sorts of things and I love all of you guy's depictions of it. To me it's more of a feeling than an event. Sort of lonely, hoping to find something in this mess of a world. Wanting to anticipate change and then accept it, but also still being stuck in the dreadful past.

This song brings back so many fond memories. Waking up early on a saturday morning where everyone in the house is still asleep. You creep down the stairs and turn on the tv to cartoon network or nickelodeon. All these shows in their prime and glory. Little did you know that all this time you spent watching that screen it would just become a vague memory. You grow up before you even realize. You're heading in a bathroom when this song plays. As you enter the bathroom, you're unable to find the toilet but instead, the bathroom took you to another reality called Synthwave. You were astounded with the beauty of this reality as if you felt you were in this place before. Not long after, you find yourself in a car. As the car drives through a gridded path, loads of nostalgia flowed through you, you were able to see the world around you. It is a world full of purple-colored neon lights. The palm trees, mountains, buildings and flamingos in the background are riddled with purple-colored neon lights. The ground below you is a giant grid with infinite dimensions. As you peek through the horizon, you noticed that the car you're in is heading to a city. You gazed your eyes onto that city and catch a glimpse of the sun; this sun is unlike the sun in the real world, it has yellow and magenta colors in it. It also has the distinctive lines on the lower part. As you approach the city, neon palm trees started to appear on the sides of the road. You thought to yourself that you undeniably wanted to live in this reality forever. As you enter the city, everything goes black, not long after, you were awokened by your friend. Confused, you asked what happened. As it turns out, you passed out in the bathroom for an hour. As you get a hold of yourself, you smiled; recounting the memories you have in the Synthwave reality. Your friend asked you why you're smiling, you said that they will not understand. You told yourself that you hoped you'll be able to enter that reality to experience again the astounding beauty of the reality called Synthwave and you also hoped that you don't want to leave in that reality and instead, spend the rest of your life in that reality.

I remember in High school where I didn't have many friends and my homelife was awful I stumbled across the full song of this and cried. It reminded me of when I was younger, of days that are so blurry they feel like Dreams more than memories, happier times when my mom was as quick with a smile and a laugh as we were before money issues and abusive partners sucked the joy and enjoyment out of her. I miss her a lot. She may be in the same house but it feels like there's this thick sheet of ice between us. Everytime I try and dig through she freezes me out again. I love her very much and it hurts to see her so broken. Sometimes though, sometimes she smiles and laughs at something stupid I said to get her to laugh, and jokes right back making me feel like I'm on cloud 9 because she's *there*, not living in the past or the future. She's right there, so close in those moments that it's like she never left at all. That's what this song reminds me of. It reminds me of my mom, and how no matter how much she may yell or hate herself, I will ALWAYS love her. She'll always be my mom and the best one I could have asked for!

reading the comments for this is the most beautiful thing I've seen in a while
People always say, "It's just song, it can't have emotion or feeling " . But for me it unlocks so much, memories,emotion of weirdly sad and happiness all at the same time. This gives me memories of being a kid. Even though I am still considered young, back when you didn't care about the simple things. You where just happy, living life to the fullest. It reminds me of after having a long day as a kid, riding in the back seat of my car in the night after what seemed like the best day ever. Resting my head on the car door and drifting off to sleep with a smile, peacefully. When no one cared about what they wore,or how they looked. When people didn't stress about the upcoming assignment and just was living in the moment. I am a girl, who has friends that are girls, but a lot of friends who are boys. I hang out with them everyday, beside of what people say thinking that i'm "weird" or "crazy". But, they are not just stupid idiots. They actually care about people, unlike other people I have met. They make me happy, joking around and laughing and talking about the random funny stuff that comes to mind. This song unlocks so many memories. I miss my friends so much and care about them a lot. Little do they know, they are why I love school so much, and I wouldn't trade them for the world. Yes, it's just a song. Just an instrumental. But it unlocks emotions and memories that I will never forget.

In my mind this song brings out memories that I love, hate and havent even experienced yet. Only difference is, this version of the song makes it feel like those memories are trying to resurface and be apart of my life again. However Its like they have been forgoten and submerged under new memories that are keeping us above the water and making us stressed and panicing over the smallest things. Things that don't even matter in the real life, game scores, follow count, likes, and really anything that bring you pain and worry. If its not too late for you to change your way of life, or start thinking differently about things, then take this advice and save your memories and not get distracted by stress. I know it sounds like im giving you a therapy session, but everyone needs a life coach right about now.
I know that most people wont understand this, or maybe they will. My messages usually have a 50/50 chance of meaning something to people. Im just trying to say, keep holding on to old memories dont let them drown. You will need them. Good luck.

I can't think of a better video to embody the feeling of depression. I genuinely can't. The music is there, and you know it sounds good, but you're in another room. It's muddled. The fine details are difficult to make out. But you keep on listening, because you don't have another option. If you leave the party, your friends will miss you, even though you're hiding in the bathroom. It's not like you're having a good time. So you stay, staring at the wall, listening to Home through the wall, wondering when it'll finally be over.

So refreshing to know I’m not the only one feeling all these emotions about time and life while listening to this banger. I really want to say that I truly resonate with all these sentiments in the comments. It’s uplifting and yet sad at the same time, which is so fitting for this aesthetic. I know very well that brief moment of clarity and calm in the bathroom at a party or club where I take a few minutes to reflect on life. I’m autistic and so often I do take those occasional small breaks to compartmentalize everything happening to avoid an absolute overload of the senses, even just to quickly document it all for future reference. Working Night Shift at a hospital, everything is empty and it’s raining outside. Listening to this song makes me feel like I’m out of time and everything is frozen. I’m 21 and I feel like I’m already late on so many things, hope is still inside of me to make me a better human being. Sometimes I feel like we miss so much of life cause we are so caught up in problems and whatnots, still, it’s these king of magic we thrive for as a species. Y’know, just in this moment, of absently listening to this piece, and thinking on the matters that correspond with it, it makes me want to do this. Escape from the thumping music and large crowds, enter the bathroom, and just sit there, silently taking in the muffled beats and chatter, and think on deeper matters, for moments like that truly make living worthwhile. And maybe, if possible, instead of a bathroom, head outside, and just stare at the stars, gazing in wonder and awe, intertwined with Nostalgia. Being alone takes a certain kind of perspective to truly accept, and for me, these moments are truly what allows me to take time and contemplate on myself, and in these times, chills and a cold wave run up my body when I truly accept that in that moment, it’s just me and myself, absent from the present moment, further allowing me to open my mind on deeper topics, we do thoroughly enjoy partaking in. Yet it seems that there’s just no time for those around me, more so friends, to listen into my long winded, cosmic questions, theories, analogies, mythologies and tales of folklore, and or philosophy, conversations that are spurred on by THESE exact moments. I’ve even found that with any form of party I am invited too, I’ve been more and more inclined to escape the atmosphere, and just take some time to think. I think I’ll do that when another one arises… and possibly, someone may join in, and adventure with me. 🤝
I feel you mate, its exactly the same with me. Those few moments are what make it possible to tolerate our otherwise congested life. That realisation of you actually being with yourself and the peace of mind that it comes with, is wonderful. Hope you're doing good.

This song reminds me of night time road trips back from when I was younger. I felt safe and comfortable closing my eyes while the street lights keep flashing through my eyelids and the rocking from the car just makes me fall asleep faster. Those were the simpler times when you wake up, you’re already in the bed.
I’m in college now and this song just made me look back to the pre-pandemic times when I take bus trips from the airport to my university. Same vibes. Solitude, comfort, and safety.
This video right here definitely reminds me of Thursday nights when bars are filled with students going out to party since Fridays are usually when students that live not so faraway go home while people like me who live faaaar away just stay in the dorm. My god, the muffled sound in the background takes me back to that time when my friend and I got so drunk that he nearly passed out in the cubicle. The only driving force that kept me up was that I had an exam the following day. This was during my freshman years pre-pandemic. God I miss my friends and orgmates
i’m usually not much of a storyteller, but i remember back in summer 2020 i went on a lot of road trips to see my family and this song was always on. i’d just, sit in the car with my headphones on, enjoying the view and the music playing in the background. this version makes me review all those memories but faded, as if they never happened, as if i just saw them in some movie or someone told me about them. i really miss those times and i don’t currently have a good relationship with basically any of my family members so i can’t really go visit 😅 but yeah. it was nice while it lasted.
edit 14/01/2023: small update, the time that comment was written was when i was really depressed and had been for a couple years, but now i’m on antidepressants and things have been a lot better for me. me and my family are in much better terms now and i can go visit again, it’s super fun and i never realized how much i actually missed those times until now. so yeah that’s my story i guess :)

Man, I remember being 12 or 13 thinking I have my whole teenage years ahead of me, and now that I’m 17 I feel like I’m running out of time yet simultaneously feel like I have all the time left in the world. I feel like I’m stuck in one place while everyone else is moving forward living their lives going to parties while I’m here with constant anxiety and fear idk maybe it’s because I’m almost 18 so I don’t really feel like a kid anymore
enjoy your life and go out and do things. take time to appreciate what is around you that is good and fills your soul with love. Life moves fast, just live in the moment. Take it as advice from someone who has grown old.

This makes me strangely and sadly nostalgic. For a time when minecraft was all we talked about. A time when we messed up watching cartoon network because we didn't know what 8/7 central was. A time when all we had to worry about was what we were doing today. A time when we smiled and laughed for no reason. A time when we were happy. A time without pain, sorrow or grief. A time that I'll never forget.
This song just floods my mind with memories and it feels great for the moment, but that dreadful feeling of being in the present and knowing nothings the same brings this unknown feeling of uncertainty and intense sadness. It reminds me of my best friend that I had since I was in preschool. We would hang out a lot and I would go to his all practically everyday during elementary and middle school. It was a fucking blast just playing screwing around and just enjoying the moment. But he grew close to marijuana because of the people around him and our group warned and told him to stay away. No matter how much we pestered this godamn idiot wouldn’t let go. Who knew where this would lead to right? I’m now a senior and I rarely talk to him now, but it pains me to say that old friend that we used to hang out with so much and do everything with is just faded away with so much drug abuse and god knows what else. I recently saw him and it sent a godamn shiver down my spine to think he could go from a lovable big ass guy to a dehydrated almost skeleton like shape. It really hurt knowing he could be here with our same group but he’s just wasting away and we can’t do anything. Anyways if you ended up reading the whole damn thing, thank you.

No one had it as a job and it was just fun videos and memes. when everything is shoved in your face and you're forced to choose what you want and to forget the rest that was presented, you are led to believe that you're running out of time and that's what the internet is today. This song makes me think of the memories of me and my old best friend. We met in a horse game when we were 11 years old and started talking to each other alot. It was like we couldnt live without each others company and after a few years we finally met in real life. We were so happy together and cried the most when it was time for me to leave and drive back home. Even trough the long distance our friendship didnt change at all. We started visiting each other often and so did we cry even more when one of us needed to leave again. After the years our friendship grew and there wasn´t one day were we weren´t on a call together and laughing about random stuff. But then somehow everything changed. We got busy with school since it was for both of us our last year, we didnt call for weeks and weeks turned into months. We tried communicating again but failed horrible and after a year we finally called again but it wasn´t the same anymore. I knew nothing about her anymore . We tried making things up and staying in contact but failed on it. I regret it not talking to her earlier maybe then it wouldn´t have changed so much in our friendship. We are strangers now but I will always remember us as best friends.

man this makes me remember everything from 2019 to now. all the people i’ve met, heartbreak, love, sadness, joy, happiness. i really miss it back then since didn’t have to worry about anything just lived it day by day now i gotta pretty much organise my week from monday morning. I want to go back to 2019 and live my life from there again so i can make better decisions then what i did and hopefully end up in a better position mentally you know. Been dealing with suicidal thoughts a past year just happy i didn’t do it since i have such a amazing friend group to hangout with.
Hopefully i’ll come back to this again in a year or two and be glad i didn’t end my life who knows

This song just overwhelms me with nostalgia, particularly memories from late 2000s/early 2010s. Nostalgia is a strange feeling for me, it is melancholy feeling but it makes me happy simultaneously. I remember early days of school, hanging out with friends in the summer, going to my grandpa's house every Friday for dinner. I have drifted apart from the vast majority of my childhood friends, we just lost touch over time. I saw one of my childhood friends working in a shop a few days ago, he didn't even acknowledge me as a friend, he just spoke to me like he did the rest of the customers.
I have so many memories of my Grandpa. We used to go on holidays together, he used to look after me if my parents were away. We would watch tv together and go for walks. We always visited him on Fridays with my Mum and he would make us dinner. I was really close with my Grandpa. He passed away 5 years ago. It was all so sudden. It still feels like it was yesterday and I have never really gotten over it. Last month my Gran on my Dad's side of the family also passed away. I no longer have any grandparents left. Time passes by too quickly and sometimes it's difficult to make the most of it.

I just got my negative Covid test after 6 days of it running it’s coarse. I just cleaned my room for the first time in months. I’m sitting in my armchair for the first time after cleaning up what I had set on it for idk how long. I just feel like listening to this right now. I may have a weight problem, a best friend that tried to break me, and an endless bundle of anxiety. But I have a family that loves me. I have teachers that support me, and a new friend I’m getting along well with.
Life is good.
For anyone who feels helpless and alone, I know it’s hard. It was hard. But it gets better. We’re all in this together, brothers and sisters.

Thanks for this, it gave me a break to clear my head, anyway heres my venting its 11pm gotta be up at 6 tomorrow for school and the pressure is getting to me, its so chaotic and the days just blur together. I just turned 17 and don’t even have my permit, i don’t know what I want to do with my life school is so overwhelming and im just tiered all the time, my parents make me do sports when all i want to do is hang out with friends or not be so stressed but the work flows in I don’t have the time to finish all of it and now im slipping i just don’t know what to do. I don’t know if it would help to hear this, but i’ll say it anyway: it gets better. it really does. it’s okay to not have things figured out at 17. i’m 20 and still am struggling to figure out what i want to do with myself and who i am. it’s helped me to cherish my time and be present when i’m with friends. worry about getting through one day. then the week. and that eventually becomes a month. time will flow, and with that things will start to make sense.
