The Chablis wine-growing region is located in France, in the north of the Bourgogne region. This cool-climate wine region is easy to understand. Chablis wines are made from a single varietal - the Chardonnay grape; they are always white and come in several appellations: Petit Chablis, Chablis, and Chablis Premier Cru, which are the wine region’s village appellations; and Chablis Grand Cru.
