- The Chablis wine-growing region is located in France, in the north of the Bourgogne region. This cool-climate wine region is easy to understand. Chablis wines are made from a single varietal - the Chardonnay grape; they are always white and come in several appellations: Petit Chablis, Chablis, and Chablis Premier Cru, which are the wine region’s village appellations; and Chablis Grand Cru.
The vines of Petit Chablis and Chablis grow in close proximity, yet they result in wines with different profiles. Through the description of the soils, Kimmeridgian or Portlandian, or the exposures of the parcels, this video explains why… #PureChablis #Chablis #PetitChablis
