Thank you for this! I have a 15’ V sport and I’m having the same issue, I found the replacement parts a while ago but this tutorial for replacing will most definitely help. Keep the CTS content coming!!
What if I have that problem on the little trim that separates the rear window and small quarter window. You touched the part I’m referring to at 9:23 thanks
THat's tough.... It looks to be part of the rear quarter glass/weather strip (all one piece). You can see it at this link for the drivers side part number 23446986: www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-driver-side-rear-door-window-weatherstrip-23446986?c=Zz1ib2R5JnM9Z2xhc3MtcmVhci1kb29yJmw9NiZuPUFzc2VtYmxpZXMgUGFnZSZhPWNhZGlsbGFjJm89Y3RzJnk9MjAxNSZ0PXZzcG9ydC1wcmVtaXVtJmU9My02bC12Ni1nYXM%3D Passenger side is part: 23446987
Another great video as always! What I love most about this one is the how not to. Any DIY guy/gal will tell you things don't always go to plan and this will save some pain for anyone else who might attempt this one on their own.
+1 Jet Fuel Only .... Its been awhile. .. My dad a United DC-10 Left Seat in the '70s then 747s (RIP),, would be thrilled with your hnadle. .. "Jet Fuel Only!" .. Where you been? .. Cheers, Vail, Colorado 8,150ft at the driveway. ...
I have a 2013 XTS Platinum which i totally take care of like it was new. I noticed on the "fake" aluminum surround on the front grille is covered with a stainless looking cover. A rock must of put a small hole in it and water got under the fake covering. I have an area about 2x2 that has slightly bubbled. Do you think a heat gun would at least reduce some of the bubble appearance?
@co4988 your rim size doesn’t matter in this case… if you want to fill the wheel well with tire you can get a taller tire but that’s not how it’s supposed to work and it wouldn’t look right. Also there aren’t many options when it comes to lowering springs. I don’t think Weaponx has been shipping lately so RFperformance sprint springs are one of the few options. I also don’t suggest mixing springs.
I just started working and wanna get a cts and just change parts overtime, found this channel so I’ll be saving videos
Hope you get one!
Remember it’s still a Cadillac. The parts aren’t always cheap.
@@JetFuelOnly thank you I do too, please keep these videos up if you can
Been modding my 2019 since I got it last year and these vids are clutch af 🔥 .

Another great video, I will try to wet sand with 3000 and reclear. Probably won’t take off. Seems like I will have problems as I will reuse same trim
Another "Hero" video! Can't wait to fix this issue!

Ha well in a couple weeks I’ll be following your dad’s footsteps at United.
One of my next mods down here in SFL. Bought my VSport with a little cloudy rear passenger and some 'car wash' scratched B pillars.
Just bought my 2019 CTS yesterday and I love it. But how do you get yours to sit low and level?
Lowering springs. Visit www.refinedperformanceusa.com/

Hmm not sure. Does it seem playable in summer sun? Wouldn’t want you to make it worse.
Tha k god for this video my 18 cts v has all 4 of these trims lifting and delaming
You must be up north because it's damn hot here in Riverside. 😂
Yup
Thanks brotha, same thing is happening to my car 😢
Thanks for the video. Mine is terrible which it sits in the sun so no surprise...
Hey bro what size tires and rims do you have on your CTS? Love your videos BTW 💪
Thank you. These are 19s. 245 up front and 275 width rear.
And you did a 2 inch lowering spring all around?
@co4988 no I think they were 1.5 front and 1 in the back or something. These springs aren’t sold anymore
I have 18 inch rims on mine makes me wonder if I should put 1 or 1-1/2 inch in front and 2 inch in the back lowering springs what do you recommend?

Did u make a video for the front?
No. The front requires interior door panel to be removed (I have a video for that) then you can access the screws to pull off the belt molding
@@JetFuelOnly I was able to make it work...with out pulling it apart...thanks tho...came out good
Fixing to do this front and back
What percentage are your tints
Lumarr 15% ceramic. I’m told it’s closer to 20%
What is the part number?
Part numbers are listed in the description below the video.
Why not just lightly sand with 600 or so and re-spray a clear coat without removing anything??
That’s a path you could choose but I suck at painting.
The eraser tool will save your fingers!!!
