I listened to YL when I was 17 back in 2011 . It was a highlight of my señor year of high school . This sounds so refreshing as a 30 year old . Brings me back but also moves me forward. Great album.
We put my boys in piano lessons this year and they have been hating it, so I showed them this video of Trevor playing the piano. They were able to see how cool playing the piano is and the great music that come from being a piano player. BTW: My album of the year...

I loathed violin because it was just playing songs I had never heard before from people who lived 300 years ago. I started playing guitar in high school and enjoyed it because I was taking lessons and learning how to play what I wanted to. Unfortunately my mother seemed to only support me learning instruments I didn’t enjoy and playing songs I didn’t enjoy. I’m sure they’ll enjoy it when they can play what they want to learn.
