Yeah, armor of agility is prolly the second best armor in the game. I dont know the order but id say its like Helldusk Armor, Plate of Resistance and Armor of Agility as far as i know
In this encounter is necessary, they have Sanctuary protection to feed their power into ritual that gives Orin 10 attacks protection every turn. But, with group of 4 you can kill her in few turns, burn shield with 1-2 characters and then finish Orin with fighters or special arrows.
@@AlexAnder-dh8qz You can also solo it by killing everyone with a hastened sorc/warlock. But those dudes with Sanctuary don't have ny decent loot so what happens in this video is even nicer. :D
Hey, friend, i really need your advice. you didnt have player icons (right centre of the screen) you played solo,. I wonder how did you removed that UI from the screen? That UI is actually causing bugs for me, so i would very appreciate your information on how to remove that UI with player&companion icons and other UI near them
In my playthrough in the Duel against Orin (Also Tactician), I just summoned the 6 Ghouls via Thay Magic, Ghouls took their turn, Orin failed the save against the paralysis, and died in the second round without my character ever doing anything. :D
So, you just gambled her. She has +10 to saving throws against paralysis, +2 from difficulty level + her stats and armor to hit. She should have roll very low, never happend to me with ghouls on bosses with crowd control legendary resistance.
Also, ghouls have only 6 attacks total, while she has 10 attacks protection every turn until you disabled ritual (group can persist through ritual and get special achievement). So, in your case, you either stopped ritual before ghouls got the actually upper hand, or there is something you didn't mention.
@@AlexAnder-dh8qz legendary resistance only applies once, its a reaction, once the boss has to use it its gone, and on a nat 1 they still always fail. My friend just did it the except same way. I agree that Orin has a high chance of making the safe, but: Ghoul Hit chance vs her was 55% aka 3 Hits per Turn. Orins save? Dunno probably she has a 80% Chance to resist? That still means that after 4 hits the 5 hit would paralyze her. This still means she will only get to act once, because she takes on average 3 hits turn 1, and 3 hits turn 2. But once she fails once, she has instantly lost. I dunno it does not feel like much RNG to me.
@@holokom3330 On Tactician she has Unstopable: 10 - first 10 attacks do 1 damage and decrement that counter by 1 each. While at least 1 cultist on arena alive - Bhaal wall will cast Unstopable: 10 on her again. The only way to prevent this - kill all cultists, probably it's possible to do it before you trigger the battle. Or it wasn't tactician, or you played as Dark Urge and somehow disabled her gods favor.
Its extra attack feature. At lvl 5 most combat classes have 1 extra attack per action (green dot). Only fighter have extra attack x2 at lvl 11. So I had 3 attacks + 3 from haste + 3 from action surge in first turn. Its Larian implementation coz it dont work like that in tabletop.
@@thorusin yup normally the haste would only be an additional weapon attack (basically always take haste in this game its bonkers for your melee lads).
@@thorusinEven more, game proposes too many potions of speed and elixirs of bloodlust to empower attacks even more. Even with additional attack instead of additional action it will give superior results.
I took 2x ASI becouse I didnt had Hags Hair on that run. Starting 17 dex 16 con 15 wis. +3 dex +1 wis. I took high wis for saving throws as its most common target and can have rly bad effect.
Spoiler warning If you choose dark urge you solo her by default and she only takes a couple rounds to kill without any of the cultists buffing her. Slayer form to absorb her 1st wave of attacks then really its just a 1v1 dps race which heavily favors the player if you have a half decent set of equipment.
Ehh, cheater. I don't mind modding. But anyone can mod and make the game a cakewalk. It's more impressive when someone doesn't mod and can pull it off. Boring.

@@taa347 It's not a weird claim. At the 9:51 mark, you'll see the inventory. That is all you need to know that this is not a legit playthrough nor is it a legit fight. 8 str with only "92.3" pounds of weight? All the arrows are single items, not stacks. Same with spell scrolls. Modded to hell.

I know you don’t have much choice in solos, but it always hurts a little to see enemies get pushed off a cliff and miss out on loot 😂

How do you have 20 dex and 16 in 2 stats at level 11 with sharpshooter? don't you need to be level 12?
Maybe because of free stats you can barted from hag and later from blood magic drow in Moonrise Towers.
Fighter gets an extra feat compared to other classes. Lvl4, lvl6, lvl8, and then lvl12..... whereas other classes are lvl4, lvl8, and lvl12.
Where did you get the gauntlets?
I think I bought them from armor trader under Lower City Central Wall portal in act3. And I bought armor from him too.

What if you cast sanctuary on the companion? Can she still kill them? 😂
You can interrupt the conversation with the attack button and start the fight early, then she can't kill them (didn't for me, at least).
