Thanks for the reminder to let them blow off steam before saddling up. I used to do this for all my cold weather rides, especially for the appaloosa who has a bucking habit. He has been doing it more lately. I think he feels me losing my confidence as I age.

Yes it helps alot. Aging is hard for all of us. We have to stay in better shape, work on strength and balance more, as it is so easy to lose. I prepare more and take less chances then I use to!
