Not really bro, it has been working the same so far for me. Also do you notice the classes of the bosses and passives sometimes as well? Bosses that reduce damage from basics also affect beta dot. Same with opposing classes, bosses with higher dot resistance and all these other things
Until his basics are fixed, it might be tricky. Cause you’d notice I can’t combo interrupt with him because I can’t block after I end with a swipe. The block doesn’t work

Koaa can’t deal a lot without Raven after his % reduction. It’s unfair to erase the supports. He does with brainy what king does with Raven. Raven with fogs will be an overkill
Beta doesn’t have 2 bil one shot capabilities on its own, it needs a damage multiplier to get very high values. So you cannot just slap beta on a silver or gold character and expect a OS

Maybe try him with crown + raven. It would be interesting to compare him with KOAAM, 'cause king does decent damage with such team setup
