Some if those old firebirds are REALLY cool and I feel very overlooked pieces. And that srv strat.... just muuuuah. I have also found that if you are a certain type of person (me included) buying a bit of gear every once in a while is imperative to maintain your interest in playing. My dad is the opposite as he has had the same 3 Martins for over 30 years and plays every night for hours. While I am too much of a gear head and need a new amp, or even just a pedal or something to keep me playing and interested in experimenting with music. Kinda the same thing with motorcycles. I actually enjoy hunting down, buying and re building them more than driving them. Once a bike is fully rideable I find myself itching to sell it and get some new ruaty pile to tinker with lol. People can be weird. Oh and "a cure for wellness" is a great cronenberg esque film, and De Han's watch dita his character perfectly. Never noticed it during the film but looking back itnreally works with his character. I wish I could afford such beautiful watches. I content myself with the odd seiko, citizen and vintage casio from time to time. I just got this absolutely hideous "my wife hates it but I love it" old steel databank with this flourecent green/yellow face accent that was only availablenin Jaspan that I love and the wife utterly hates. I have a lot of strange old geeky digi pieces that I love and she always asks why I don't get prettier watches and I always tell her if I could afford a box full of Pateks's and IWC'S I absolutely would..... but weird psuedo "futuristic" digis and ani digies just heve to do atm. love the channel man.
Missed the show, but: That was my Steinhart at around 3:12:00. Re the AR coating: It's barely noticeable on that model, on my OVM V3 it's a lot more prominent. I think it's down to the slightly bevelled edge on the OVM's mildly domed crystal. The green one has a dead flat crystal and there's no real bevel to the edge. And re the green insert: That's the reason why I had to buy this watch when I saw it on display. That green just "spoke" to me. :) It's their new Ceramic Green model which just came out. I'd call it a "half-a-Hulk"-homage rather than a Kermit. Their Kermit has an aluminium insert in a, IMO, less attractive green.
i'm still working, so a metal g shock usually...currently a seagull 1963 on a crazy horse leather nato...i have a vintage seamaster, champagne dial, gold indices on the original beads of rice waiting for after sunset...i change watches like 6 times a day...kinda obsessed
Cool to hear you're a fish guy too, I used to have a 6ft Tanganyika setup, man I miss it, they were amazing fish. Just catching up on the show, feel asleep with the phone in my hand last night, maybe I'll have to move over to the coffee you drink ;-)
They considered the snowflake world looks to be the cheapest looking watch they offer 5:18 . For that price point I can find something much more enjoyable

The FEARS astonished me the most. I never heard before about it. Beautiful in all detail.
My dady bought one NKUWAN and he loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when he went out with it.

I've always loved the Omega Planet Ocean, 39.5mm.

Sorry to hear about your two Golden's. We too lost ours a few years ago. Golden's are the sweetest🐶
Wearing one of my Vostok Amphibia, no date, 150 case orange & black dial on the original orange NATO strap. Happy together!
The gold day date at 3:05:15 stole the show for me! Gorgeous
On my wrist 36mm. Two tone datejust . Champagne dial
Paul Monkhouse exactly what I have been wearing for the past one week of doing intense gardening under lockdown, my 1983 DJ vintage!
What an excellent watch!
Nice one. Wore my no date sub repairing the decking tough as anything. Haha
Ahh.....your killing us with the wait and announcement on your pick for your first luxury watch. lol Sea Master 300 is my guess. ;-)
Currently on my wrist... Victorinox INOX diver in deep blue. A budget beast.
I'm wearing my zeppelin lz127 gmt love it
Hi, keep on the great work! I’d like to send a wristwatch pic but don’t know where to email it to, any help please?

I don't think the dial pattern is honeycomb but dragon scales and bezel Edge spines. Not my taste but interesting.
Nice
❤️❤️
