    *Love it! Keeps the room very **Fastly.Cool** . The manual states it comes with a year warranty and 5 year part replacement. The compressor makes the typical sound...small price to pay for AC.*

    Looks great, and with a brighter bulb installed that’s all the light you need. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxWF88GpljEn-0o34vtLFazEQ5h5Q33SjU As far as ease of installation- this was my first ceiling fan and it took about 3 hours because I had no idea what I was doing and also it’s helpful to have a second set of hands and a magnetic drill bit. Works great.

    I actually see some installation improvements I like here, like the "key holes" to make the switch housing installation easier. Speaking from experience, the previous generation of switch housing was a pain to install. Dropped a lot of screws... Interesting to see that Hunter has transitioned to the common blue wire for the light as well, as opposed to the classic black with the white stripe.

    Hunter fan company, I installed a fan for my friend the other day,awesome fan. One thing the wires were the old cloth cover wires thick, hard, and just a glob of wires there. The hole on the ceiling bracket was small and hard to get the wires through. I was wandering maybe if the hole could be made larger in time? And the way it was set up it wasn’t flush to ceiling, just the old system would have cost lots of $$ to have a pro do it . It look and works fine, in time I will buy one for myself!

    I have a 51023 model and makes this horrible clicking sound. I’ve tried tightening the blades, but that didn’t help. Any suggestions for what I should try to get rid of the clicking noise?

    The canapee for the ceiling fan is a mainstays but it's small and the whole thing is just white finish.

    I am in the process of installing 4 Hunter fans that mount into the square bracket JUST like the one in this video. When I screw the locking screws into the bracket, there is a significant amount of play in the motor relative to the mount. This does not seem correct; the motor assembly can wobble and is not "locked" meaningfully to the base. The motor is captured and cannot escape the square bracket but it is not "locked". I cannot find any information verifying that this is correct. I am going to call their customer service immediately to see if they can help.

      +Shane Edmonds I am responding to my own post. I called Hunter Customer Service immediately after making this post. I have to say that Hunter has one of the best customer service groups I have ever dealt with. They were prompt, courteous, efficient and immensely helpful. They answered my question quickly and with confidence. I was up and running immediately. Thank you, Hunter for providing excellent products and customer service.

      Mike Gladish just spoke with Hunter. The locking screws keep it in place but there should be play in it. The weight of the fan itself keep it where it should be and all the balancing happens with the blades. Good luck man!

    You don't mention the most important things, connecting the wires according to the colors. The wiring is what most people are interested in. Blue wire goes to what? Black wire goes to what?

    • @michaelhawk8230
      @michaelhawk8230 3 года назад

      I installed mine today and you’re correct the instructions are vague in these videos. I found the explanations more helpful in the comments from other people that have actually installed the fan. My installation was replacing a ceiling light with the fan and there was an existing two switch on the wall. One switch operated the ceiling light the other switch operated nothing I thought but I found out the second switch was actually a pre-wire for a future ceiling fan. The directions are pretty clear after you realize this but beware because one Hunter video the guy was totally wrong regarding the first step making sure you ground wires are connected that’s the green wire from the fan the green yellow wire from the ceiling hanger and the unused ground wire from the ceiling electrical box. The blue wire connects to the unused red wire in the ceiling box. I tried to explain I’m sorry if it didn’t help,I’ve a better idea just search RUclips ceiling fan what’s the left over red wire for. Good luck

    I got the Avia low profile from Costco. It does not have a bracket to hang the motor it does come with a very long wire that I am supposed to attach to ... It's very difficult to wire the transmiter and the power while holding on to the heavy motor. No help with the instructions or on youtube... The Hunter videos and any others I could find have a bracket and a connecting rod that helps to suspend the motor. Without these I can not install this fan by myself..No I should not have to get an electrician to do this. I guess I'll bring it back to Costco and lose all my time.

    • @jeepguy95
      @jeepguy95 8 лет назад +2

      White goes to white, black goes to your hot wire (red, black, or any other color than white, usually, depending on wiring situation), green from mounting bracket goes to either bare copper or green ground wire, and blue goes together with blacks and hot wires.

    Worst piece of junk I've ever put up. Hunter must be getting a tax break for the person they hired to design that motor housing bracket. Any speed above low, the motor and blades wobble horribly. No way to securely mount motor housing to bracket. Apparently, this fan is dependent on gravity to hold it in place. Go above low speed, watch out! Fan is not worth the box it's shipped in.

      I came here to try and solve that exact problem after wrestling with this all day - how does the motor get "secured" to the bracket? The screws that are supposed to do that don't seem to connect to anything!

    • @danielbonner8309
      @danielbonner8309 Год назад

      No I can't put mine above low or it goes off balance and the screws on on the motor rub on the canopy. Bad design.

    This video is not applicable to the Model 59177. The screw holes in the blade irons are too big and the blade iron assembly screws don't hold the blade irons in place--they just fall out. Very disappointed in the shoddy manufacturing.
