I think your window detector circuit diagram is wrong, since you have the input connected to the non-inverting terminal of both comparators
Spot on! Indeed the comparator on top of the page has the inputs swapped: the signal should go to the inverting and the wiper of the (positive) set pot should go to the non-inverting. I have pinned your comment. Thank you.
