Indian Oil Co's has had gr8 success in use of waste plastics in Bitumen. You may also refer the codes set by Indian Road Congress SP-098 for addition of waste plastics to Bitumen in Road Construction.

What about recycling of this new (polluted) asphalt? Is this new asphalt hazardous waste that needs to be disposed of in a landfill?

If I mix or melt asphalt with stone and melted plastic you get a longer lasting road serface
