World Records - TLP

The Long Paddle:
The official world record attempt to circumnavigate mainland Britain by Stand Up Paddle board. This world first will be an attempt to be the first person to complete this challenge, setting records for worlds longest paddle and speed to complete.

Loving your logic, and yes that record recording company are too big in my experience, I have given up trying to use them as a form of fund raising, to expensive or too slow if you are not prepared to pay the extras to speed it through. I once waited 12 month only to be rejected on a minor technicality with no suggestions for alternative approach grrrr.
BCU are doing a lot towards SUP in the UK so fingers crossed they will step up and take it on; sadly I do know they are small in numbers and not a wealthy organisation. So many SUP paddlers use the waters and love the experience but don't pay the Canal and River Trus licensing; if they do they should do this via the BCU as it helps. Please keep promoting the need for a governing body, it would be a big step forward, specially if they provided a build standard for appropriate design/build/use of a board.
