I have been using InDesign as a professional for close to 15 years (before that Quark) - every tip you gave in this video is new to me! I cannot believe I didn't know about these basic but fantastic features! Thank you!
I rediscover InDesign after years, thank you so much for such clear instructions. I had been working with QuarkPress for many years, but there wasn't even half of all these InDesign's possibilities. Now I have to learn from the beginning and your tutorials are better way than using book guide.
I like your presentation style as you are calm, speak slowly and gently - a good style for teaching. Excellent tutorial and I used it to do a uni assignment in Adobe. Thank you, Martin.
I just knew they had to be a better way. I mean it is InDesign after all. Thanks a lot. I was going to go the long route if I couldn't find a tutorial.
Once I have added the photos, how do I change the placement of the individual photos, for example put the photo in the bottom right corner into the top left corner, and vice versa?
I'm having some trouble with this. When I am creating the columns and rows, I'm getting an enormous amount of space between them that I can't alter. Also, should I be choosing all landscape or all portrait photos? I have a mixture of both and when I try to use the Gap tool, I'm getting some odd photo sizing. What might I be doing incorrectly?
