Like, I get that they only do it that way because over-the-top reviews tend to go viral... But they don't even say WHY it's amazing. Or they apply complexion products with a blurring filter and pretend it's natural. 😒 Gurlllll. Should be illegal.

Urban Decay needs to use their Moondust formula more often 🤷🏻♀️ that's a great formula.
This! Space cowboy still gets rave reviews to this day and a lot of RUclipsrs have started doing videos on wet look shadows which has revived its popularity when it is already always sold out. They just needed to swap some of the shades for moon dust eyeshadow and they would have had popular reviews.
Oh my goodness, when talking about disappointing products the angrier you get the more hilarious you are! Also, I am amazed how much work you do as I look at how you notate each product and reference a retailer for each one. Also, your editing is flawless. Believe me, I understand how much work there is in your videos!
Did you try mixing the Nyx "shine loud" that is like glue and that you can't remove, with the colourpop fresh kiss lip creme that tries to go everywhere? Maybe that's the magic combo as they are the opposite! 😂 I laughed so much when you were talking about the colourpop fresh kiss stuff!
Tick Toc hacks are equivalent to Five Minute Craft's hacks. Good in theory but rarely effective in real life.
The escape room for your face bit made me laugh out loud. When Angie said they will go anywhere into your cheeks into your man into your cereal
The Fresh Kiss lip cremes have gone to holy grail status on my end...the formula is amazing on my lips and stays there for hours. Goes to show how different formulas can go from grail to fail on different people.
I'm so disappointed about Colourpop shadow stixx. I thought they were gonna be like Kiko Milano's long lasting shadow stick ones and i bought the creamy yellow one (because it's been discontinued from kiko...) thinking it would be the same easy glide and creamy texture and blendable...BUT THAT THING IS STIFFER THAN A FUCKING MANLEY CRAYON!

I've seen the milk makeup hydro slippery eye primer on several worst list so far. 🤣🤣 They really need to get their shit together!
If they would have described it as a concealer primer for eyes, I think people would have liked it...
But that's also kind of useless, because you absolutely can use your silicone primer all over your face and on your undereyes and lid area. Let it sit for like 10 min, and then apply concealer, and it helps concealer go on really nicely, not crease as much, and not look so dry and crepey, because silicone is pretty moisturising and occlusive. 👍🏻👍🏻
I used that for eye "primer" for a whole year. The 2 layers help protect against staining pretty well, and eyeshadow looks nice, over it. 🤷🏻♀️ Not workable as glitter glue, though.

This year's worse make up item for me was the NYX Epic Wear liquid liner. It's thick like using Elmer's glue on your eyes and took foreeeevveeer to dry. Who wants to have to close your eyes for 5 minutes while doing your make up?
And the worst part is they've seemed to discontinue their Matte liquid liner which was my absolute favorite out of every other brand. It was a thin formula yet opaque and easy to work with. It dried fast and it really was matte. I'd rebuy it for the rest of my life!
NYX seems to have started taking the expression, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" and making it "if it ain't broke, try to make it like our competitors but forget that we were already doing better than them for a reason."
They try to make their fan favs so "improved" that they mess up what was already great.
I’m so relieved to find out someone else feels the way I do about the brow freeze. It’s ok but it definitely did not freeze my brow hairs.

I tried this nyx liquid lipstick cause I needed something mask-proof. Literally, I couldn't remove it...my lips hurt after that much effort 😅

Omg I love the nyx xxl lipsticks!! 🤣🤣 they are literally my favorite formular in liquid lipsticks!!! It's actually funny hearing you not like it, while I wear it almost everyday 😅😅😅 also for me it doesn't feel dry at all, but actually very comfortable... I didn't like the old formula too

The most disappointing product this year was that Anastasia highlighter. I'd really like for her to come out with a range in the same formula as the original. This product was almost universally hated, which was a total surprise since the first one was such excellent quality.

There are a lot of products in this list that a lot of people really love....like the maybelline 30hr foundation, loreal powder foundation, nyx matte lipstick, shiseido radiant synchro foundation...but this is why its good to see everyone's disappointing list!

Love the eye look! I love doing a neon green one shadow look, I usually pull it from the melt Vida palette. It’s really simple but impactful.
I was really picky about what I purchased this year and the only thing that’s coming to mind is that nyx brow pen. It’s got a fantastic formula but Nyx really needs to update their brush tip packaging because I’ve bought several and all of them started leaking after 2-3 weeks of use. Trying to use them past the point just makes the leak worse. They’re like $10-12 which is too expensive to be replacing it once a month. I’ve been going through other brands versions and I have found a lot of better packaging but not a better formula. It’s a bummer.

Girl let me just say you don't look a damn day over 25 AT MOST. You could easily pass for younger! I wouldn't have even guessed even CLOSE to 38! I usually stay silent but I am just shocked, being 31 years old myself. And im not into giving compliments like that much because it's dangerous grounds I tend to just NOT tread on.

Hah! I want a brow product that will survive not only a full day and a full night, but also a full night's sleep. If I (for reasons) don't take off my makeup, I want everything to look smearing and terrible, but my brows locked. I'm like, wow, I look like it's 2001, but my brows are goals. That. Everything else is a no.
I've heard some people use Got 2 B Glued hair paste for this exact effect on their brows... It's the same stuff people use to freeze a Mohawk in place 😎👩🎤

The worst product I’ve tried in 2021 has got to be the urban decay cyber pallet. My friend got it for me as a birthday gift and it’s my first urban decay palette and it is straight trash. I feel bad that he even spent the money on it. who asked for this🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

@@Lauzangular That's such a sweet analogy haha I swatched it in store and I actually kinda liked it ....just not for the price. I think if I ever see it on a deep discount I might snatch it. Actually, tomorrow I'd be able to get it at 30% off (it's 30% off UD during one day), but I'll still not buy it. I can still get better palettes for that price, and I should save money anyway.

The Nyx Epic Ink liner can certainly go to hell. Could not keep it in the proper position (upright, tip down) without it overflowing and bubbling on the sides, it was so liquid that it bled into EVERY little line on my lid, and to top it all off, the cap separated from the component! Me and my kvd tattoo liner are now reunited and very happy together, thank you very much!!

My brain: PEPPERIDGE FARM REMEMBERS!
I tried the regular version of the Shiseido Synchro Skin foundation, the natural-matte one, and somehow had the exact same experience with it. It looked wonderful for the first 30-45 mins, but after an hour, I looked VERY dewy, and after 2 hours, it had completely broken down on me and I looked like I'd been dipped in baking grease. I couldn't wait to scrub it off my skin. And it's such a shame because it was one of only 3 foundations in all of existence that PERFECTLY match my skin color AND undertone.
Concealers: my favorite is the Wet n Wild Incognito, but it is a medium to light coverage, just enough to cover the medium blue vein I have under my left eye. Too if I tap it out as it dries I don’t have to set it with powder. The one I hate the most is the LA Girl one. It is very affordable but it just does not play well under my eyes.
Can you do a video ranking your Colourpop palettes and maybe one ranking your Glamlite palettes?
I have never seen anyone talk about that concealer, but I have the same problem with the La girl one I'm going to pick up the incognito.

My biggest fail this year was the rare beauty eyeliner. It exploded in my face like a bad pen the second time I used it. I had a bad time.
Oooof. That sucks. I had a bad experience with the NYX Epic Ink Liner, and that liner is rated really highly! But it's just too too too wet.
I started applying it mid eye, on my lash line, and it leaked into my eye and I started tearing up hard. I couldn't get it out of all of my corners and stuff, and I just gave up on makeup, that day. 🤦🏻♀️
I could eventually work with it if I dabbed the brush on paper towel before using it, but that's such a waste of product, and gets messy.
I haven't tried many liquid liners for a while, because I've been using eyeshadow, cake liners, or cream liner, instead. Getting back into it, now, and I dunno what to try. 🤔
@14:47 don't worry! you will have beautiful tshirt & shorts days sprinkled all throughout the year, even in winter down here in TX! :) you will love the sunshine! it's literally going to be in the upper 70s for a couple days again this week, and then a little bit of cold will come into town and then back to some warmer sunny days again, with maybe a hint of some rain ...lol! that is TX weather for you! :)

Foundation is a thing that is really tricky for me to find.
I want them so light that you can mistake them for a Daydream when you put it on. So far I haven’t found any that lives up to that haha, the one that have come close was a foundation powder combo from MAC. 😛

The Maybelline Superstay Activewear and the Colourpop Lip Crème are my everyday staples! I do understand about the foundation - use 1 pump too much and it looks like you've put it on with a spatula so got to be careful! The lip crème is the best thing since sliced bread! Its not full matte, not velvet but somewhere in between and I love it so much!

I think this yellow eye shadow would look great on the moving eyelid with another colour above. It's the yellow above that does not work in my opinion. Also, I have been lucky with what makeup I bought in 2021 and I now have the issue of trying use it up!! Happy Holidays.
I like the Powerpuff girls' sticks hahaha. I use them on the lower lashline, and I enjoy the results! No problem with the formula, looks pretty nice. However, I must say, I have never used them on my lids, so that's something to try.
I feel the same about UD. I haven’t bought a pallet after the billionth naked pallet launch. I miss their themed pallets like the big one with the butterflies, the Alice in wonderland, or the udXgwen stefani collab.

I agree so much with you on the NYX shine loud lipsticks. I also got tricked by tiktok as well because everyone and their mom was hyping it as the best thing since sliced bread and since they kept going out of stock my dumb ass ordered all of the shades... shades are beautiful color and all but this is the worst lip product I have ever used and I hate it sooo much. I swear, NYX must have some secret sponsorships going on on tiktok because this isn't the first time their mediocre product got hyped. I used to adore NYX, but I feel like they dropped a ball in 2021. with a lot of their new releases...
