I Really hope the Bristlewing will be a Hatz Hunter. Something I dislike about current fliers is they just can't stand up to a Hatz. Hell most ground creatures can't deal with Hatz if they are smaller. Even most modded creatures can't fight these things - but we NEED a Hatz Hunter in the sky. Something that is specially tasked at taking large fliers out of the sky, and big enough to do it. I would really love for a mod that gives us a small beast, like Rhamp, who's entire purpose is to kill specifically Hatz. Imagine a small pack of flying beast, sky-raptors, chasing down the Hatz, a sky-rex. That would be so fun to do.

Sadly, when I last asked about it in the ExArg server, they said they're also moving away from the jumping spider design and doing something else with it. So apparently they're scrapping their redesign and doing a second redesign. Unless they were messing with me or I misunderstood what they were trying to explain.
What i would love to see is a fantasy based map for the fantasy mods thats kinda medieval style for the dragons. It would bring something so different to the modded community, like hells forge looks soooo good but imagine those types of buildings on a huge map 😍 a girl can dream 😅

Honestly the state that the ophis is in gives me little hope for the bristlewing. The Ophis literally cant even use it's scuttle ability and not only is the fracture bite completely useless it's venom bite doesn't damage anything.
The mod maps are coming along but should only be released when they only have one zone left to do. It’s frustrating redesigning zones for certain creatures as a server owner, also I wish the creator mode was better and easier.

Finalizing sounds and whatnot. The devs went on Christmas break and recently went back to work on their mods. They should be here sometime in February or March. (do not cite me, it's just an estimated guess).

I am excited for the wolf yes and maybe other mammals but what I would like to see is a modern alligator or crocodile or at least a modern lizard I do wish we to see one
Here's the thing tho, tarantulas don't have great eyesight, jumping spiders on the other hand do and need it to hunt and judge the distance for their jumps, jumping spiders have also been reported taking down prey much larger than they are so apex players might be in for a surprise if they get ambushed by this not so tiny terror
@@josephpatterson2549 also I don't think people realize how most tarantulas hunt. Without a massive foliage update they'll be sticking out like a sore thumb. They're typically stand still and ambush predators. While yes they can "run' that's normally to GTFO of dodge. A jumping spider gives players both a better way to hunt but also to escape.
This game is in a weird place...like im all for cool aquatic dinos...but the ocean is huge and EMPTY. looks pretty but nothing to do...oh you can collect clams...fun.
