- Today I'm sharing our Summer 2022 flower farm tour. There is a lot in bloom, and lots of big changes happening for next year! I'm also working on a quick #cricut organization project for our farmer's market trailer as well as a peak at our current booth setup. We're starting to get this whole market thing down! :)

The lisianthus really are special. Almost like a ruffled rose. I love how they look like little skirts! Such fun flowers.

Yay I love that! I try and tell people to just start with one flower at a time. ☺️ Learn when it likes to be planted, how it likes to be started, and it’s needs for sun and water. You’ll do great!

Do you start your lisianthus and statice from seed in flats, direct-seeded, or buy seedlings?

Haha yes I guess so do have a lot of different varieties. 😅 It all starts with getting to know one, and then learning more about how it likes to grow helps me remember. Growing flowers is addictive!
How tall is the fence? Deer here can easily jump a 5 foot fence, and sometimes 6 foot if they’re really desperate
The electric fence at the second plot? That one is about 6 feet. They haven’t been an issue there, but there’s lots of vegetation other than mine for them so I don’t think they are real set on getting in-
I want a cricket machine it looks super easy to use!
They really are once you learn the basics! It’s fun to see how many different applications they have too. Yesterday I used it to hand write a card to one of my wedding clients, and then later to design a shirt for my 11 year old. Now he wants me to make everyone on his recess basketball team a shirt like his! 🙈
