How come these Chinese SUVs look like several Japanese SUVs from different angles. Suppose Chery has been lagging the other Chinese manufacturers on the reverse engineering front?
Personally I like the latest offerings from the Chinese brands such as Chery, Haval etc. They look good, are usually packed to the brim with tech. that is normally only found in expensive top trim levels of rival car manufacturers from Japan and Europe. Unfortunately due to the perception of 'Chinese' vehicles, the resale value of these car brands prevent them from having greater adoption in Australia. Perhaps in another 5-10 years and their reliability holds up, they could become the new Korean of vehicles. More competition, better for consumers.
Great review, so good you got me to leave my first ever comment 🎉 I got the AWD on 30/11 and am really happy with it, great trip car and you can turn off the start stop and keep it in sports mode and the economy is surprisingly better over time, you get to speed cleaner so not pushing the accelerator as long, the more it’s driven the better the economy gets
This light grey woud look gorgeous with the maroon interior. The front wheel drive certainly wouldn't handle the bends as well as the Awd. And the seven speed speed dual clutch is much better than the cvts that just spoil the ride in any car. The interior fit and finish looks as plush as any Japanese or German suv in this class. Full size spare si a rarity these days. So all in all , im adding this Tiggo 7 to my shopping options. Good review guys. Thanks 🙏
These guys should have much higher subscriber numbers, probably my favorite car review channel right now, fair, honest, funny and most importantly...NOT brand snobs like so many car journos on RUclips! Keep it up!
Had my Ultimate AWD Model since early November. Been great so far. The intro song can be disabled and you can set what drive mode you want when starting the car. The "DMS" Driver Monitoring System unfortunately can't be disabled even though it says in the manual you can toggle on or off. Hopefully that's added in a future software update.
In Indonesia we've got the tiggo8 with 2.0 turbo gasoline engine capable of 250hp and 390 Nm of torque. It's FWD version 0 to 100 took around 7 second. The interior however it's a bit different, really nice and solid to drive.
If it's like the Omoda 5 with the music when you enter, you eventually get over it. Which can actually be turned off by switching the boot music button.. Surely it should be the same for the tiggo 7 pro
Guys, love your reviews. Your honesty is refreshing 😊 Can I please ask if you add one thing to your reviews? Please let us know if the sunroof/panorama roof have a solid block out blind or one that lets some sun in? Thank you 😊😊😊
Hi Boys, awesome review we are seriously considering the ZRV vtilx or Vtilx Honda's company car dis you drive both models, if so which seats did you fine comfy there is only 2 of us and a dog but now have to drive elderly parents around and our current HRV EHEV is not too king in space for that very interested in the Tiggo 7 and also the Xtail your thoughts would be greatly appreciated
Great review, i have them in my country but they are way more pricey, could yo make a JAC review? if you guys have that car brand over there off course.
yes it is true same goes for MG in Australia, only one distribution center in Sydney for the whole Australia for Tiggo. Next year they are planning to open another on in Victoria.
Great review guys! Though if you had to pick one Chinese (non-EV) vehicle of which you have tested this year, what would take your hard earned cash? This Tiggo 7, the GWM Jolion (S guise or hybrid), or the H6? Please don't mention the MG!
Hey buddy, I suggest you continue to review Indian cars in the future. It will bring you countless viewers from India. As long as you review those products, there will be countless overconfident Indian nationalists flocking to the here and leaving a lot of praise for their products. I have noticed this pattern after watching many of your videos. 🤣

LED lights look cool and can do fun things. But they also go out very quickly. I see cars including Mercedes EQS models in my area (amman jordan) with lights out. How old can those be? How much use can those lights have? People here don't ever use turn signals. We have LED lights in the ceiling and those go out quite often, and they don't deal with weather, or vibration etc. More tech the more to go wrong. And we are talking lights.
When I lived in Beijing, during heavy rainfalls, people were stuck in their cars (traffic got clogged up) and drowned when the electrics for doors and windows failed. I totally understand why they have included the tool in the centre console. (it also help them get a five-star safety rating)
I feel like a big reason why you guys don't have WAY MORE subs as you should is cuz you are in Australia, and the right hand driving makes it less relatable to most people.

In South Africa we have the Tiggo 7 Pro (1.5 L turbo) and the 7 Pro Max (1.6 L turbo with and without AWD)
We've got the awd
We need the HEV like the Haval H6 HEV.
We have iPhone 16 pro max

Also can the noise when going over speed limit be disabled?
Chery does very good NVH. Luxury car level refinement in the Tiggo 8 Pro which is arriving here later this year.
Can’t wait to drive it!
@@CarSauce According to overseas reviews, even the ICE 2.5L turbo is very peppy. The PHEV may tear up the saucy corner.

@ndukasmiththey don’t need ANCAP ratings to add any value to their brands. People would still buy their products even without the ratings.
