    I have studied psychedelics for over a decade but do not have any formal education. I want to take the training with IPI. Can you please explain the steps to become certified to become an assisted psychedelic healer? Thank you.

      Hi @phantasticant, our own courses are approved by the American Psychological Association (APA), but we suggest that you double-check with your own state licensing board to be sure they will accept our courses and to decide what qualification you would like in order to do IPI's program.

      "Who Can Apply: You must have an advanced degree in either medicine or mental health in order to apply. If you are an early career mental health or medical professional, we encourage you to apply so we can discuss your situation and evaluate whether this program fits for your level of experience.

    Greetings from Bates County, Missouri.
    I am interested in learning how to become certified for this type of therapy.
    I am not licensed as a therapist, does that need to be completed before going any further here?
    Thank you for sharing.

      Hi @gbowman9429 and @bassk1000o! For the IPI training specifically, yes, you need to be a licensed health provider, however, as Psychedelic Support we have many other courses accessible to you.
      *On Psychedelic Support:* psychedelic.support/education/
      If you are not a licensed health provider, please select the Completion certificate option at checkout for our courses. The course content is the same as the CE/CME options. The CE/CME options include credits towards Continuing Education (CE) and Continuing Medical Education (CME), which are only applicable to licensed health providers.

    Is this only for ketamine? What about mushroom and LSD

    • @kassiba
      @kassiba 2 года назад

      Ketamine can be used in a clinical setting as it is not scheduled I, LSD, Psilocybin and Psilocin are schedule I substances and cannot be used in a clinical setting without the approval of the Drug Enforcement Agency.
