Maybe I’m just old, but I prefer to drive my new to me 2023 Model Y. That’s why I bought it. It’s a great handling sporty car. I tried the FSD a few times last month since it was free. For less than a mile each time. It was too stressful of a driving experience. I’m retired and don’t commute. I drive for the fun of it.
Appreciate your comment Tim.
I would use it all the time either.
Maybe just for traffic commute.

FSD is made precisely for people who get old and can no longer drive safely
I did not subscribe or buy it. Even in the home of Tesla in California having trouble. FSD gets confused with freeway ramps under construction, green pillars separating bike lanes and road when making a right turn, too many lane changes, left turns going in the wrong lane, and winding roads in the hills of Cupertino, CA missing a turn. I have to admit it makes you more of an attentive driver. I rather use the SEXY Commander Autosteer bypass instead.
Appreciate your comment.
I wouldn’t use FSD on a winding road either because I wouldn’t trust it to control the right speed for tight turns.
Thank you for sharing your experience and your great support!🙏😃
Your camera is tilted too low, we cannot see the traffic lights.
Appreciate your comment.
Will try to make adjustments next time.

I do like the much better map/ui in the trial. I dont want FSD but I think every car should get the improved radar/detection
Appreciate your comment.
Hopefully up coming spring software update will give us the new and improved UI.
Thank you for watching and your awesome support.🙏😃
I had it for 90 days last year and hated it. Had it for another 30 days recently and thought it was wayyyyy better. So much better that I did the $99 a month.
That’s awesome!
Thank you for watching and sharing your experiences.
I would mind to pay $99/mo when I need it either.
Appreciate your support!🙏😃

Look at your screen in the left turn where you took over.
FSD saw the car it was I. The screen but what you didn’t see but it saw was that car was changing lanes to right and FSD knew it had an open lane and was going to proceed
Thanks, Paul for the video! You've gained a new subscriber!
I have been contemplating purchasing an EV again. I attempted back in 2022, but my reservation kept getting pushed back. I ultimately purchased a 2023 Toyota Camry. I live in the north end of Colorado Springs and commute to Castle Rock, M-F. At least the adaptive cruise control and lane assist help make my daily 64-mile roundtrip commute tolerable. Considering the significant drop in Tesla prices, I'm contemplating getting a used Model 3 priced around $25K and qualifying for the $4K tax credit.
I wouldn't pay $8K for full FSD, but $99/month is intriguing. I enjoy seeing your driving tests in familiar areas. I used to drive frequently in Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, and surrounding areas, which helps me relate to how FSD would be in my everyday driving.
Appreciate your comment Alex.
$99/mo subscription would definitely help with your commute.
This is my Sixth year driving EV.
Before Tesla I had a little Fiat 500e .
I’ve saved quite a bit of gas money since I changed at home about 90% of the time.
Thank you so much for watching and your awesome support.🙏😃
Great video. I had the same conclusion. I might consider renting it for $100 for a month if I was doing a road trip. But it’s not worth anything like $8000 to me at this point.
Also, I did like auto parking. It was slow, but seemed to work well. I might buy that if it were offered separately.
Agree on auto part, it’s a little slow in most case.
Thank you for watching and your great support 🙏😃
Using fsd can lower the tesla insurance premium by a lot, even though I am a very safe driver.I get ding a lot when driving busy traffic.
Lower? Really?
The first week of using FSD my insurance premium of that month went up by a lot.

Great feedback. Appreciate the opinion regarding value as it relates to working from home vs daily commutes in traffic.
Appreciate your comment Russell.

99/mo especially if you cannot transfer FSD to another car...
Agree, maybe when you plan for a road trip.

Darn it, I still don’t have my free trial yet. 2023 MYP here.
Oh man. That’s crazy.
Why can’t they just send it out to all the owners at the same time.
Hopefully you will eventually get yours soon.
Thank you for watching and your great support m.🙏😃
No, should be free so its something to differentiate with other EVs
That would be ideal.
