But Denise really stood her ground, worked with the problem, gave him time, did everything in her power and was even okay with saying goodbye to him. I am glad she did that, guys like this will just keep pushing and pushing and emotionally manipulating things. It was NOT 2 DAYS MARK IT WAS HER WHOLE LIFE - however long she lived with u, she gave all that chance for u to make up for it and u put in zero effort. Denise deserves better and the poor pups deserve better too and the husky too. this is the first time I am seeing someone actually standing up and throwing someone out instead of allowing themselves to be manipulated. I believe Denise's issue was primarily related to Mark's overall attitude. It wasn't just about the dogs; they would argue about groceries, his behavior towards other women, and even taking out the trash. Denise would be better off with someone who is more serious, while Mark might be better suited with a girl who is more easy-going.
I'm easy going, and in no way in hell would I even want to be in the same room as that man. He definitely has personal issues. And the fact he has issues with women in general? Only a woman who doesn't value herself as a human would date a person like him.
One can be easy-going and still take responsibility for their actions. I'm not sure anyone would be a good fit for such an immature man. Two such people is just a disaster in the making, in my opinion.
Any man who would let his dogs bite his friends and family members 12-18 times and wouldn't do anything about it until he's kicked out of the house is not fit for a relationship. He needs to grow up.
I think this was a happy ending, all that matters is that Casper got trained and is doing really well. The couple on the other hand, they are gonna be much better off seeing other people because they just really aren’t compatible, with or without the dog issue.
It's shocking that the men was soo nonchalant about everything and the fact that he thought the husky was well behaved speaks such volumes and if the husky was an aggresive dog then the outcomes would be so so bad.....
You're right. He uses 'love' as a way to manipulate her. If he loved or respected any of the friends and family members that those dogs bit 12-18 times he would've done something long before he got kicked out of the house.
Listening them fight is giving me headache. Denise made right decision He is not ready to be serious about this situation. It's hard to put up with such people. I know because I'm one of them.
The couple had faith once upon time maybe several years back. But as their promises got broken (especially he never followed through), there’s no more faith and trust in that person. He’s a manipulative guy who was disrespectful towards his own fiancé to live in her place for free.

Yeah I thought that was creepy. If it was purely coincidental, fine, but this was a girl he dated in highschool and reunited with 30 years later. I think he may have been the one to track her down after spending 30 years pining after her.
These Kit-Kat sponsorships are so jarring XD I'm watching the playlist of full episodes and like three in a row now have that awkward product placement LOL
It was clearly the Kit Kat that was the last straw here 😂 (Seriously - why put it right at the end instead of after/before one of the nicer moments in the episode? That’s a weird association to make with their sponsorship)
28:57 I thought at this point that these two aren’t even attracted to each other but they’re all they have besides their pets. I really thought this was gonna be about the owners and not just the dogs.
Of course, its always "women stick together" and "they ganged up on me". IF you can admit you are wrong, and prove that you have the drive to fix the past mistakes, they wouldn't be telling you you need to fix it and take it seriously! Own up to the fact you have done nothing to help before now, and make the effort to make that necessary change.
I had a reactive dog for 12 yrs (angst driven and traumatised due to a biting incident when he was a puppy) and people like this drive me so freaking mad! Take this seriously god damnit! A reactive dog is dangerous. You have to be on watch everytime. Controll your dog.
To be honest, she was self fulfilling the prophecy. She treated him like he can't do right, so the moment he can't, she says, "See? I was right." But he gave her every reason to think so. Not once did he give her confidence that he CAN do right. I think Victoria coming should have been a good chance for her to be more supportive outwardly and for him to get his head in the game.
This is a mixed bag…both of them have to work on the training. Because if they were to get married it would no longer be my dog vs your dog it would be “our” dogs. If they can’t work together on “their dogs” then it’s not going to be just a dog issue. They are like oil and water…I think she just used the dog as an excuse.
Why is it that people think "small" dogs are cute when they growl or jump etc, but if a large dog did the same, wed be alarmed that he is going to turn into a "misbahaved/dangerous dog" .....they are ALL dogs! Small dogs need AS MUCH, if not MORE training to ensure they dont end up ha ing issues like " small dog syndrome" ...
I think the call to Victoria/the show was at least a year too late (and Mark was ten and nine years, respectively, too late in training his dogs). Denise was done from her first minute and that's why she was so harsh, IMO. Casper has attacked her dog on multiple occasions and bit her child and his response to that was 🤷♂. It's hard to give leeway at that point. Mark used up all his slack over the course of their relationship/three-year engagement.
I noticed it too. At the time these were aired it probably wasn't taken that seriously, but should have been censored when re-uploading the old episodes. (I did agree with him on many points though, and think her expectations for how quickly the changes should happen were unrealistic, but they both seem to have a habit of getting way too personal and just digging in deeper rather than stopping to think how much damage it will do.)

@carolegreen9938 this dog has bitten over a 'dozen' times. He is lucky that none of that was reported because if it was he wouldn't have a choice in the matter of it being put down
I think she only says this because she thinks this is the only language this dude perhaps understands. She clearly doesn't mean that she thinks the dogs need to be put down. Then it would have already happened and she wouldn't be in this situation for 2 years. She even says so much at the beginning. She wants the dude to (finally) step up.
23:10 “That’s what women do, they stick together” - would he have taken this more seriously if it was a male trainer pointing out how dangerous his dog is? Or would he have dismissed it still as someone capitulating to his ‘sensitive’ fiancée’s feelings? Either way’s not a good look, but I get the sense that part of this guy’s problem is views any criticism from his girlfriend as ‘nagging’
It's just deflection, he redirects the attention back on her so he doesn't have to take responsibility for the fact that his dogs have bitten 12-18 times and he's done nothing about it. It's what people who are pathologically self absorbed do on auto pilot. If they can make you angry it works better do of course he'll throw something sexist in there or call her the r word....because he 'loves' her.
My husband and i have 4 dogs 1 cat, 1 fish, 1 dove, 1 brown headed cow bird and 40 chickens...we live in peace...totally possible and my husband and i have a great relationship!!!
When there is no trust left, it is done. I couldn't trust my husband of 23 years. I still loved him. But I could not trust him, so I divorced him. It hurt me as much if not more than it hurt him. He never forgave me for divorcing him due to his unconstrained alcoholic behaviors.
How is a dog supposed to behave sensibly around people and his family when even the adult owners behave like bitchy little children towards each other? Unfortunately, that's not uncommon in this show. No wonder the dog is trying to gain control.
It's funny how everyone is down on Mark. He was learning, too. However, his passive personality and Denise's personality are NOT a match. Bottom line, our pets are our responsibility to keep them safe, entertained, loved, fed, etc. If you can't commit.... don't bring them home.
His passive personality and dog ownership are not a match. Imagine allowing your dogs to bite people 12-18 times including children and saying to people who have a problem with it that you're making too big of a deal out of this. Anyone of those people that got bit could've pressed charges and demanded the dogs got put down. His careless attitude is a danger to his pets. He should not be a dog owner, he's making those dog's lives a living hell.
You can tell she hates Casper. No wonder he growls at her. She claims to be in love with Mark but she’s just an angry, hateful person about everything, and Mark claims to love her too but he doesn’t act like it either. I’m glad they broke up.
I'm actually really glad that Denise made the decision she did. They're not good together. Also, it's really interesting to me how this show is so much more about dysfunctional people than dysfunctional dogs.
It is usually the reason the dogs are dysfunctional. Their humans made them that way.

"I don't know why Denise gets so angry and personal" Maybe cuz your her fiancé and your so nonchalant about the fact that your dog has bitten her son, bitten her, attacked her dog and her cats. Oh and she's given you 3 years to fix this problem!!
am I the only one weirded out that he named one of his dogs with his ex's last name?
Yeah I thought that was creepy. If it was purely coincidental, fine, but this was a girl he dated in highschool and reunited with 30 years later. I think he may have been the one to track her down after spending 30 years pining after her.
Or he changed the dogs name as a way to weasel back into her life.
Mark comparing Denise to Casper is so rude.
I've used these training techniques with my own dog.
That's why we should let old relationships sleep and not give them life again.🙏🏻
I had a reactive dog for 12 yrs (angst driven and traumatised due to a biting incident when he was a puppy) and people like this drive me so freaking mad!
Take this seriously god damnit!
A reactive dog is dangerous. You have to be on watch everytime.
Controll your dog.
This was more about that toxic couple than the dogs.
Victoria is basically a human psychologist at this point
Neither of the dogs were the problem, he was. He was childish through the entire episode.
To be honest, she was self fulfilling the prophecy. She treated him like he can't do right, so the moment he can't, she says, "See? I was right."
But he gave her every reason to think so. Not once did he give her confidence that he CAN do right.
I think Victoria coming should have been a good chance for her to be more supportive outwardly and for him to get his head in the game.
These 2 people are not a good match.
Poor kitties
I don't see how they even use the litter box. But it's on Denise to protect them.
Victoria this whole episode: listen I know we called this show “it’s me or the dog” but we didn’t mean that literally 😳
I’ve learnt alot from Victoria how to train your dog. My boy is well behaved an that’s cos I paid attention to Victoria training all these dogs.
Im using Victoria's techniques to train my puppy
They were EXs for a reason…. They should have kept it that way….
It drives me nuts. The behaviour is the same regardless of size and little teeth can give nasty bites too.
Dogs bitten people 12-18 times and yet he does nothing until he's kicked out? Dude is a liability.
21:20 the ultimate gaslighting
That dude doesn't have respect for women AT ALL
So Important to keep your dog exercise and mind so your will not be bored 😑
She is clearly so fed up she wouldn't allow 1 step aside from anything. It was clear from the start they wont work
I think the call to Victoria/the show was at least a year too late (and Mark was ten and nine years, respectively, too late in training his dogs). Denise was done from her first minute and that's why she was so harsh, IMO. Casper has attacked her dog on multiple occasions and bit her child and his response to that was 🤷♂. It's hard to give leeway at that point. Mark used up all his slack over the course of their relationship/three-year engagement.
I didn't like this guy from jump and then he uses the r slur (and editors didn't bleep it??). Screw that guy.
r slur? I'm not sure what that means... sorry
@@Lorgayle138:57 the slur he says here that starts with an r is extremely ableist and it's so bad that disabled people don't even touch it -disabled autistic person
People used that term back in the day. Awareness has changed that.
@@Lorgayle1Retard. It's a verb but people used to use it to describe a person who is mentally challenged.
If someone would've told me you had to put your dog down... I would say go to hell. It's not love. Wonder why he was with her so long.
Denise's _repetition and nonchalance_ saying of wanting Casper to be put to sleep is _sickening._
No.
It's a waste of skin.
She should have just left with her animals. She had no right to say a dog has to be put to sleep because of its behaviour.
if the dog was a pit he would have beeeen put down , sds and small dog privilege
Well done Victoria you are amazing ❤
THE DOGS COULD ALSO
B EITHER TRAINED ,POSSIBLY
REHOMED.
I AM NOT SURE I WOULD
TRUST MARK TO DO
THE RIGHT THING.
He's already slacking after a couple of days, those poor dogs deserve better
You're right. There's a reason Casper is anxious. His owner is too self absorbed to be a good dog owner.
That’s why the show is called what it is.
it's so interesting how, similar to kitchen nightmares, the american ver. episodes are so dramatic
Why are they even together?? First red flag 20 years ago, heed that warning people don’t change for you! Byyyye
Two days or 5secs can be detrimental!
He just can’t see the severity!
Too dangerous to depend on!
I wonder if they got back together. We need an update lol
I felt for the man and the woman lost the trust and it never worked i see him doing well on his own with his dog.
Never ever get rid of your fur family for any relationship!
I ❤me some Mrs.victoria I'm half way through let's I 💕 watching her work on the couples n families 😉 ❤😊
My husband and i have 4 dogs 1 cat, 1 fish, 1 dove, 1 brown headed cow bird and 40 chickens...we live in peace...totally possible and my husband and i have a great relationship!!!
Such a good idea Victoria love it 😊
I don't know when this episode originally aired, but it's a shame that they could not work out their differences as a couple.
Poor cats
When there is no trust left, it is done. I couldn't trust my husband of 23 years. I still loved him. But I could not trust him, so I divorced him. It hurt me as much if not more than it hurt him. He never forgave me for divorcing him due to his unconstrained alcoholic behaviors.
Good for you. I hope you're enjoying your independence from his alcoholic behaviors.
Mark uses the dogs as a sheild to avoid real commitment to Denise & never actually marrying.
How is a dog supposed to behave sensibly around people and his family when even the adult owners behave like bitchy little children towards each other? Unfortunately, that's not uncommon in this show.
No wonder the dog is trying to gain control.
Husband didn’t train his dogs.
They should have taken the hint that they were not meant for each other the first time they broke up. The dogs were just trying to tell them that.
The owners need the training 😂😂😂 poor dogs and cats😂😂😂
Good episode. I wish the programme makers didn't keep repeating parts of the programme during it.
I love this show
What the heck?!? The episode is not over. What ended up happening ?!?
I feel bad for those dogs. Casper’s so sweet. I wish Denise could’ve taken them.
They don’t need Victoria, they need dr.phil
😂Yeah
Yes
Dr. Phil is a quack. I wouldn't send ANYONE I cared about to him.
No, they need a real psychologist lol
I'll bet after 3 years of living with those 2 awful dogs & him just laughing about it w/ his goofy "no big deal" face---you'd be angry too.
