Your teachings have really opened my eyes to the reality of self offense not just defense.

A great tip about training knives, you were spot on. You cannot train correctly if you are worried about being hurt or hurting. Those things can take out an eye.

I like what you said and I have never heard anything about knife defense. I want to train from your book and I will be waiting for the book and training. Thank you.

All props to Professor David! You are THE Real Thing! I am a disabled veteran 63 years old. I lost my right leg 4 inches from hip, so I have always been a thinker in a Full lifetime of experiences. I have always practiced with anything I wanted to use anything I might possibly have to use. I have not changed my way of thinking, of life since confined to this chair, but would use anything that you could tell me about self-defense in my situation! I love your videos and hope anyone would open their minds and Learn! Thanks

I totally agree with what you're saying and I truly relate to what you have to deal with. I lost my left leg just about my knee and I'm trying to learn new techniques that are street based and that will work for me

If I had to pick one You tube channel for life this would be the one and only, and still the one I love and wait for coming up every day, no nonsense straight to the point training and explanation🙏❤

You are the real Mccoy professor David. Others like you are Carl Cestari, Kelly MCcann, Damian Ross, Clint Sportman, Tim Larkin. The very few that know what reality based self offense is!

No body talks about the differences between right and left hand with a weapon and how you see it differently. Share this information guys and lets help the Professor become a bigger inspiration.

Please don’t take those videos as real “Krav Maga”. It gives the real practitioners bad names. Real KM is battle tested.

You are correct, real KG is battle tested, but real KG is not taught outside of the military. It is a set of guidelines, not a style or martial art, just a set of military based training guidelines.

@@tonysicily2687 teachers like Rhon Mizrachi and Mike Lee Kananek (Haganah) teach civilians. There aren’t many, but they are great martial artists. And often share related philosophies with Prof Dave.

Be honest in real life, the chances of successful self-defense from a knife are very small if your opponent is more or less athletic and coordinated. if your opponent knows a little how to attack with a knife without these amplitude blows with a swing from the waist, then there is no chance at all. And if there is nothing to equalize with (a stone, a stick, a bottle), then just run away
