Met Andy a few years ago when he was touring with Olivia newton-john.He is as nice a rock star asyou would like to meet. Far underrated. Watch him let loose....remember he was in Danger danger with Ted and the boys....Rock on my friend
+Logan Kramer As a guitar player guitarist he got all the respect and recognition he needs or deserve, like Lynch and legions of others. I think you meant "fame and fortune". Who gives a fuck about that, yuppie scumbags?
+Logan Kramer He never wanted that. He said so himself. What is with you people and "recognition" as a semantic substitute for "fame"? Some people just don't care about it! Not everyone out there playing are obsessed with commercial success. Most people that actually get famous have to hide to even go get a cup of coffee without a bunch of paparazzi douchebags following you around. Anonymity is a very precious possession!
He just has a groove and a tone second to basically none. I’ve always said he’s the best of the 80’s “hair shredders” yet nobody knows about him in comparison to say satch or vai
The three dislikes on this vid must have been accidental clicks with the intention of hitting the thumbs up button. I couldn't understand why anyone could NOT like Andy Timmons' music.
Yes.. many guitar greats are actually very kind & down to earth in person.. satriani, petrucci, vai, andy timmons, eric johnson, eric clapton, santana and many more
Andy is great. I just came across another fantastic player in Brazil, Ricardo Marins. Would love to get his album but cant find it anywhere. Worth checking out.
+project10bball Sure but this was recorded with a cell phone at a bar in Manhattan. I can tell Andy was having trouble trying to even get his gear to work properly here. Some places are simply fucking impossible to play at because they are acoustic clusterfucks and 9 out of ten things can, and often do go wrong. Playing live, in and of itself, is a logistical nightmare to start with, let alone in a place like this.
+project10bball Yes, indeed! It is easy to play your best when you have a legion of sound engineers making sure everything is absolutely perfect. Add to that a formidable ensemble of top shelf musicians to back you up and there is heaven on earth. You can't just pull that out of a rabbit's ass on the fly.
+Randy JustRandy Yes,he has an official YT channel, but it's not very active, better check his off. FB account. He posts very often stuff, like news, photos, news about his work, tour dates etc.
Everything is amazing here, but am i the only person who can't hear a bass guitar here?In studio version it sounds amazing, but here it sounds so damn empty without bass as any music actually does.

I feel Andy needs more recognition :\
***** I think he's already pretty famous?

He is very good! Agreed.
Along with Vai , Govan, Van Halen....all household names. Andy Timmons should be right there with all of them
Many times when I heard a great player I think about how bad I suck on guitar. When I hear Andy play it makes me pick up my guitar.
vuduhwy Wow! I know what you mean...
Me too
He just has a groove and a tone second to basically none. I’ve always said he’s the best of the 80’s “hair shredders” yet nobody knows about him in comparison to say satch or vai
This is such a powerful message you stated here!
that drummer, he holds the groove so amazing!! a shame the bass is hardly present on the recording :(
The three dislikes on this vid must have been accidental clicks with the intention of hitting the thumbs up button. I couldn't understand why anyone could NOT like Andy Timmons' music.
Best part is he's such a nice guy. Demonstrating you talent doesn't need bullshit star attitude.
some of the most amazing musicians i know or like are some of the most humble people on the planet...
Yes.. many guitar greats are actually very kind & down to earth in person.. satriani, petrucci, vai, andy timmons, eric johnson, eric clapton, santana and many more
Unreal....more passion than 100 players half his age
Amazing version - he is SUCH a brilliant player, and always gives it his all Live..
40 dislikes by guitar players who wish they could play like this...
Andy Timmons is on the cutting edge of guitar performance for reals.

Tremendo artista!!! Tremendo feeling!!! Un maestro!!! Saludos desde Uruguay
I just love that clean strat sound
That would be nice if he was using a Strat but he's not.
@@paullevine1813 how dare your pop my bubble! Yes…. A second look not a real strat… sounds like it …
Love Andy
Excellent sound. Good job cameraman.
Jesus, what a tone!
That is crazy, just plain crazy.
should be a household name. ANDY IS THE GUITAR
Such a great player... Thank you for sharing this!
speechless.... extremely awesome
This is one of the few songs that the CD version sounds much better than the live version.
Pure magic .
I'd love to hear A.T. and Neal Schon play together. That would be iconic.
..............that tone
He is awesome!
Never heard him do this tune using mostly the neck pickup! Still brilliant!
A.T. always brings it. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome deliver and passsssssioooon, full feeling!!
This is incredible! Tons of feel here...
He should be in the top 10
Hydra Plory there's no such thing :)

Hydra Plory true dat. Tickets for this concert were very cheap, 25$ IIRC. I was tired to go see him, but I'm kicking my ass now for not doing it :)

Yes, but it is very low.
Mauricio de Abreu Antunes a perfect play along track for bass then!
onzkicg LOL
Yes, major mistake @ 4:30. Missed the cue.
Martijn Bergstra @2:03 too he messes up, Andy gives him the practice at home look.

Mindblowing'
Andy is agreat musician and super nice guy.
tasty player...(and i'm loving his signature AT pedal...)...
AMAZING!!!!
Love it!
amo
This song is so fucking hard to play.
A pro. Even when misses the notes he’s so fast on the recovery you almost miss it.
Som das galáxias 🤘🏾🤘🏾😎
God, put that drummer behind a plexiglass wall please. What an intrusion to the real music.
superbe!!
Andy is great. I just came across another fantastic player in Brazil, Ricardo Marins. Would love to get his album but cant find it anywhere. Worth checking out.
Lovely player, very Satriani influenced I think.
Until we say goodbye and Rubina

Performance at ibanez 90th is superior

I think this is more about another time, another feelings and maturity
Clearly, the guitar is part of his body.
feel a little dry there without keyboard.but it's still my farorite song ever.
RUclips video. sennstrato,lead guitar funky
d original..
you think this sounds good, buy his Sargent Pepper album with him playing in a studio.
84 don't like this!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Did he only use TS on this?
sounds like a cross from satch and vai
OMG!! Andy Timmons is known for the TONE>>
HE might be really angry at the sound guy !
I didn''t hear the bass sound!
Amazing guitar performance but could not hear the bass at all which took away from the dynamics.
What effects are used to play this song? I can never get the tone
stratocaster is real
I think he copped the ending from Pat Metheny's "Are you going with me" lol but I still think the guy is great, and nice too kinda like Pat.
Bass, where are you ?!
was that real?
I got tied of waiting for the bass guitarist so I left
is it joe or steve vai?
he should use Tom Adnerson Pick up
Great. But you can't hear the bass at all. Sounds empty.
I miss a keyboard here...
That non working pedal button at 0:38 ruined the song a little bit, but he let it... cool
Sounds like Andy Timmons with a drum machine
So it's not just me who sounds crap without delay ;).
where is fucking bass ?
+Mats Leven great question
+Felipe Omega yes
+Mats Leven Bass player ducked out for a smoke with Jason Newstead
+Mats Leven 估计是录像的事,毕竟是外录,不是内录,你懂的
Mats Leven were fucking keyboard. Lol
Play that guitar Andy !
ese tema no estema si no toca con el ZOOM 9002 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! QUE YO AFORTUNADA METE LO TENGO
shame the bass doesn't come through, then it would be perfect.
Does Andy have a YT channel? Somebody hit me with a link, please! :)
+Randy JustRandy You can find him on facebook.
Thanks, Renato.
+Randy JustRandy Yes,he has an official YT channel, but it's not very active, better check his off. FB account. He posts very often stuff, like news, photos, news about his work, tour dates etc.
+greekfreak1980 Thanks, GF. I don't use FB, but I'll check here and his website occasionally.
This tune reminds me the water theme from Donkey Kong
The drummer went a bit KRAZY.
ruclips.net/video/u_UwAuPVsv8/видео.html THERE ARE NO WORDS
What's up with the bass player? Was he taking a nap onstage? Lol
Everything is amazing here, but am i the only person who can't hear a bass guitar here?In studio version it sounds amazing, but here it sounds so damn empty without bass as any music actually does.
No surprise considering it's just a bootleg recording.
@@CapOlimar maybe man.Actually i have my own bootleg recordings of different concerts ,and i can hear bass well on those records.
so, better Oziel Filho
