I can't at all these people saying that you don't have 4b hair. All it does is prove that they do not know anything about hair. Curl pattern is very different to texture and those two are very different from density. This was a great wash and go video for 4B hair, I'm feeling inspired. 😍
I’m so happy to finally find a video of just 4b hair. There’s so many vids for just 4a and 4c, but 4b videos are always mixed with one or the other. I was starting to wonder if 4b hair doesn’t exist by itself 😅

People see the silkiness and definition and automatically type 4a. Her curl size is definitely a 4b with maybe a bit of 4a but don't let definition and silkiness fool you. If she was a coarse textured 4b there wouldn't be a discussion :o
I have 4b hair(same curl size as her) but its much shorter, it looks very course and rough when dry/ undefined but my wash and go comes out very silky with ecostyler gel. Smh at people
P.s. i only had 1 successful gel wash n go because i only just realized that my leave-in & shea weren't mixing with the ecostyler gel so i started using the oil and gel alone

I did this method (along with adding a leave in) after washing my hair after a long-term protective style...and boy..did the extra step of defining each curl make the BIGGEST difference! Yes, it did take a bit longer, but I finally got the wash-n-go look I've been dreaming of with my different curl patterns (4a,b, c).
OMGGG we have the same curl pattern >D I only went natural a year ago so I have a little ways to go before attaining your length but boy am I excited lmao. Great video, great results ;)

loved ur totorial. After you wash and condition, u just applied the Ecostyler coconut and that was all.
Thank you! No, I added a leave-in the day prior ( Cantu Coconut Curling Cream) and the next day added the EcoStyler Gel.
