This education is important. People are executed on behalf of the people of a state or federally so we have a right to see and visit places where the executions occur in our names.
So tell us a story of how you were able to be in the death chamber ? Were you in high school and your teachers had y’all take a field trip to the state prison ? How did y’all end up being inside the death chamber and what was your overall views on it ? Were you scared? Is it creepy being in there ? Your overall experience ?
@@Mr.paint123 Our Catholic men’s group have made large contributions to the prison to build a church inside the prison. The warden Burl Cain invited us to spend 3 days at the prison and bring a son. He held back nothing.

FALSE - Gruesome Gertie (Louisiana’s electric chair) is actually in the Louisiana prison museum located in Angola, where visitors can still visit her on display (She is not locked up, in the room next door to the lethal injection machine)
The kid sucking on the lollipop is too much. To a certain respect this space is hallowed ground. Visit Auschwitz, but buy an ice cream at the entrance gate.
I don't know if it's a field trip , a scared straight program or what I do believe that some of those young people were being very disrespectful and should have been escorted out of the room and not been allowed to finish the tour or whatever that was , and not been allowed to return .
Has to be for 1st degree murder with premeditation. Not for self defense, accidents. Not even for spontaneous crime of passion such as coming home and finding wife getting porker by some dude. In old days used to get away. The sad part is that Angola is worse than dead. Many ended up being innocent.
