I dont understand why they dont authorize appropriation bills on a 2 or 3 year cycle instead of yearly. Do like 3 or 4 each year and that funding goes for 2 or 3 years. Then do 3 or 4 more the next year. It would slow the pace of the growth of government and give our legislators time to actually read and understand the bills that they are voting for.
