Nice upgrades! Man I love Arturia. Bought my Pigments license used for about $65 when the synth was in v3. Today I own Pigments 5 and have never paid an additional penny for upgrades along the way.
Man, I really don't understand all this fuss about absurdly expensive neo-analog synthesizers and Eurorack stuff and so on. One can get Pigments at a fraction of the prize and blow them all away in every sense.
thanks, great video. i am wondering why it is not possible to control the parameters of the synth with the sequencer. or have an extra tap for that like for envelope and lfo. maybe its possible and i just dont see how.
@@Nu-trix yeah, but no juice. I'll take it up with customer service, no biggie. Just thought maybe someone here had the same experience and maybe a solution.
Surprised they don’t have drag and drop. This is weird because this is pretty much the same system lifted from their 303 emulation which has a drag and drop midi function.

Can we download from other people? I got this synth today. Thank you for good video.
Okay now do this with Spark! We need a new Arturia drum machine!
I love Pigments for sound design however, I still need the immediacy of hardware to compliment.🤔🎶🎹🎶Play On

Does it have FM yet? It would be pretty cool if they added in a few operator FM synth into it too.
The marketing folks probably said: "FM? Nice idea! Let's save it for Pigments 6. And then free for all Pigments owners, as usual." 🙂
There is Fm control which you can dial in but not a section for FM only.
Yup great softsynth. But i could not find a "ratcheting" function. repeating a note 2/3 times on a step. Do i overlook something?

Do you have analogue stuff ?
I suspect not

Pigments, Spire, Serum, Massive X and Diva and you will never need anything else.
Great vid. You forgot to mention that its possible to drive other synths (nternal & external) with this instrument
It is pretty common.
Sending midi to other vsts
For some reason 5 freezes on me immediately. 4 does work.
Did you re install it?

Can I record the P5 sequencer as MIDI in Ableton Live 11?
with ableton by selecting pigments as an input to another midi channel
As I listened to the arp on this, i imagined just how easy it would have been to be a superstar with these tools in the 70's Haha😁

Does anyone know how to install the explorations bundle? The email instructions Arturia sent me are wrong.
Just download the file and it has an installer built in. I’m pretty sure that’s all I did then the presets were there next time I opened pigments
why do you have to hold a key down?
To have the illusion of making music...
Have you seen a way to export the midi of a created Sequence?
I've done it in the past with ableton by selecting pigments as an input to another midi channel!
