+Ungaloo I think it's my aversion to getting close to that lollipop stick that stopped me from eating it part way through...then off camera I persevered with the lollipop and discovered that was so much more to the fizz pops : )
hey cheeky tam! first of all, love the south African candy tasting vids! I thinks it's time for you to take a trip to SA and try the real stuff like koeksisters, vetkoek, biltong, dry wors etc :)) and yes simba is top brand of chips in SA :D musk sweets I rate a 10/10 used to eat them when I was 5 years old
I'm not sure if you've tried these, but I love speckled eggs from mister sweet, appletizer, grapetizer, sparletta and granadilla twist sodas, and astros from cadbury. I also love beacon chocolates! I know apricot shaped candies and licorice allsorts are also really popular. And if you want to try some salty snacks, you need to try biltong and droe wors!
Please taste more south african treats! I suggest fizzers which are like taffy, biltong which is like jerky, and beacon marshmallow eggs. They are my faves!
YES I finally found a video where I know every single item you're trying🎉😂❤️we have a lot of products to try in South Africa and a lot of amazing drinks so I hope that maybe you'll have as many South African taste tests as you do American taste tests someday
+Tom Cote (The Food Snot) When I editing together my videos I have to make sure I have a bottle of water and something healthy to eat or I start to crave the food in my own video LOL and it would be way too easy to eat the lot LOL must resist.
Tam, you are absolutely Awesome just like your videos, I wish that I could get a hold of some of the things that you try. I have a question, what is that certificate that is in the background, Congratulations for what?
oh man, the end of this video! I was wondering if it was that kind of sucker (lollipop). I was even going to ask if you've ever had ones like that before. I kind of like them, if I get the right flavor.
Haha i just watched both of the Icelandic videos you made and to hear how you pronounce things which are so easy for me to pronounce because I'm from Iceland. It was so funny when you said stjörnusnakk haha
omg I'm eating the simba nick naks while watching this 🙆😱 + I love the tex bar and Fizzers and I agree the pink sweets taste awful buh the gummy bears from that brand are amazing you should try them ❤❤❤
The ice cream sticks gross me out a little too because everything is sweet then you get to the stick which is slimy and bitter XP. I appreciate the lollipop update. lol.
funny thing.. a friend of mine came home from a holiday work in south africa yesterday with those musky pinky candy. she said that they were so good. so i tryed it .. but they really did taste like soap to me. but my son ( 6 years old) he couldnt stop eating them. she told me that they gave them to little kids when they had a fluwshot or when they have a headacke to power up the sugarlevel again. and mostly are eating by docters and small kids.
+Cheeky Tam Why is it green for cream soda? I'm thinking that cream soda must be something else than I know because I've only ever seen it in root beer form with that name.
The way the Angel Kisses package was opened probably affected the taste O.o LOL Mazoe The beach corfial :P You can now play paddy wak with your nik naks :D I'll get my coat haha
+Sydney Strand The butterfingers are not sold widely and are not in most supermarkets but some stock them. I have had a butterfinger before and I love them.
+Michelle Vlogs paper lollipop stick just send shivers down my spine Michelle I love lollypops but don't get them often LOL I don't need that kind of angst in my life
+The Review Diary Luckily the South African treats were relatively easy to buy here in Australia usually it's so difficult to find foods from other countries that don't cost a small fortune : )
+Cheeky Tam first can i just say I feel like a celebrity just talked to me!! lol I feel very honored...and second use a plastic bag and a heavy pot or rolling pin!! Not so dangerous! :)
i know old vid, but, im so agreeing with the lollypops sticks.. i dont like the paper one.. dont mind the plastic one.. here was i thinking i was the only one with that feeling.
My fav squash is lemon but I do like peach and no way nik naks are awesome we have them in the UK scampi and lemon, rib n saucy and nice n spicy flavours we have never knew anywhere else had them we don't have cheese though which I don't mind as cheese flavoured things bore me abit
To help you with your lolipop problem you could hit it on the counter till you feel it crack then unwrap it so you can just try a chunk, I myself don't like wooden ice lolly sticks
I love coming home from school to watch a new video by tam😘😘
u should come back to South Africa. . and taste the new chocolate 5STAR. . It is delicious ♡♡
I'm a south African and I loved all those types of foods and drinks😃😃😃
Your lollipop stick phobia made me laugh so much! I've never heard of anyone having that reaction to a lollipop stick! So funny! Love your videos!
South Africa has some cool snacks.

+Ungaloo I think it's my aversion to getting close to that lollipop stick that stopped me from eating it part way through...then off camera I persevered with the lollipop and discovered that was so much more to the fizz pops : )
Nice video Tammy! I understand your phobia about the sticks of the lollipop haha; It is kinda like eating with a wooden fork (iehhhhh :ccc)

Haha. Love your videos Tam 💞
The peach drink grabbed me the most. Being from the American South, I sure can appreciate peaches, hehe. :) Janet
+OneWomanAndSomeSongs I love peaches and peach flavoured thing but there are not overly common. Oh yes the South is known for peaches : )
8.5 for the musk candy!! I love them!
It was so funny when the bit of paper fell and Tam said "Oh! see ya later!" Love your videos Tam!💖

Tam, you are absolutely Awesome just like your videos, I wish that I could get a hold of some of the things that you try. I have a question, what is that certificate that is in the background, Congratulations for what?
Well Tam they only thing I can say about this latest one is "peachy keen" LOL. BTW how is life away from the Cinema?
I have never heard of musk flavored candy. Sounds interesting. the lolly sticks don't bug me, but wooden ice pop sticks do.
Your videos always brighten my day Tam! :D
+Milly Packham (StyleMe) Hi Milly thank you so much for the lovely comment.
Mazoe is lekker maar Oros net so lekker, South Africa hahaha nice video btw
England has Robinsons peach 'squash' and we have Nik Naks too.. but they are from a brand called golden wonder if I'm not mistaken?

+Layan Almuhammadi Hi Layan thank you so much for commenting glad I could make you smile.
LOL ,Taqm.. you and your 'far out's :) Muah!
Point of correction!Mazoe is not South African, its from Zimbabwe.
There's a South African food shop in Toronto, I'll have to go scope out some of these things out.
I feel your pain with the paper sticks....bleugh!!!
Please try some more things from South Africa :-)
"I'm not going around spraying perfume in my mouth."
Reminds of that scene from "Elf" when Buddy did that and didn't like the taste of it.
+Barry Mitchell I'd forgotten about that scene in 'Elf'
you are so funny! totally made my day! :)
Where do you get all these candy?!!!?
"I touched the lollipop stick" 😂😂😂😂
+Kensha William blerk those paper lollipop sticks
@@CheekyTam I feel weird then, there were times growing up that when the lollipop was done I used to suck on the paper stick till it was mush
I don't know why but every single time you show us something and ask us if it looks good, I always, always answer you out loud. lol I must be nuts
The ice cream sticks gross me out a little too because everything is sweet then you get to the stick which is slimy and bitter XP. I appreciate the lollipop update. lol.

Your videos should be in 3D. That Tex bar is comin' right at me!
+Chef Jim Food reviews in 3D Oh wow that would make everyone so hungry.
+Cheeky Tam Why is it green for cream soda? I'm thinking that cream soda must be something else than I know because I've only ever seen it in root beer form with that name.
There's a green coloured cream soda flavoured drink in South Africa called Green Ambulance which I'm guessing is what the lolly is based off.
The way the Angel Kisses package was opened probably affected the taste O.o LOL
Mazoe The beach corfial :P
You can now play paddy wak with your nik naks :D I'll get my coat haha
+West Aussie Thanks Brendan I appreciate the Dad joke...ahem here is your coat : P
I never had a peach cordial what's it like
Those first ones we used to call them pinkies and when I was in grade 3 we used to get a couple in class for doing something good.
that Tex bar looks like the Time Out bar we get in Ireland... kinda :)
it does look like time out.i wonder does it taste the same....
Fair play Orla, I thought it looked like something I recognised!
We used to have time out bars in England and I miss them. I agree that the Tex looks really similar to a time out as well
what is musk is it a buble gum flavor ?
Mazoe is also found in a little country called Zambia the country itself is amazing
i love your videos! i’m from canada :)
Do you freak out with wooden spoons as well?
+HeckNoGMOs Yes those little wooden spoons you get with a tub of icecream Oh lets not even talk about it haha
I'm just wondering. This is totally off topic, but they are my favorite candy. Do you have Butterfingers in Australia?
+Sydney Strand The butterfingers are not sold widely and are not in most supermarkets but some stock them. I have had a butterfinger before and I love them.
+Cheeky Tam oh cool😺! I was just wondering.
In America we have cheesy chips that look like that but we call them chetoes
They sell Tex bars in the international section of coles/woolies (I know one have it, can't remember which one! Lol)
Tempo by cadbury from our country is the best!!!
I agree with the lollipop stick tam I don't like them either but if they are plastic it's ok lol and wooden icecream sticks are the worst
I agree
How dare you not like them. They taste great!!! PS I live in south Africa which is the best country in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!😄😀😁😄😀😁😄😀😁😄😀😁😄

Love your videos!!
LOL....I'm sorry but I can't help but giggle when you gag after touching the paper on the lollypop
+Michelle Vlogs paper lollipop stick just send shivers down my spine Michelle I love lollypops but don't get them often LOL I don't need that kind of angst in my life
How about putting it in so fizzy water and you can make a peach soda.
So what exactly _is_ musk? Is it a flower? Plant? Seed? Animal part? (....... o_O;;;; )
Sounds delish! I like stuff that isn't too sweet...
We do have musk treats in North America but they are called rose flavour. Here, 'musk' usually refers to a more earthy scent rather than sweet.
+raggedy-smith lol. When I hear rose flavour I can't help but think of soap gum here in Canada.
Urgh that lollypop stick feeling i get that with the big ms drinking from the carton makes me feel weird i cringe got to use a straw lol
South Africa?! how interesting!
+The Review Diary Luckily the South African treats were relatively easy to buy here in Australia usually it's so difficult to find foods from other countries that don't cost a small fortune : )
+Cheeky Tam Yes, cause a lot of South Africans immigrate to Aus!
Cachous are pronounced like cashew (at least that's what I've been taught) and they are usually those weird silver decoration balls on cakes.
We have nik naks here in the UK our flavours are nice n spicy or rib n saucy and scampi n lemon they are so yummy tam
Is the brand 'Simba' named after the Lion King? Because that was based in Africa too? Lol I don't know why I thought of that.
It is! The logo for the company is actually a lion wearing a crown!
Hello from Johannesburg, South Africa by the way!
+Sinead Morgan I knew it! Hi from The Netherlands and have a nice day :)
you should try smashing the lollipops that way you can try a piece but don't have to deal with the stick! lol :)
+Lindsay .Ann That is almost a tempting idea Oh wow could you imagine me with a hammer? Danger danger LOL

+junkheadspurpleland ok cool my best friend growing up was turkish ill check it out
OMG Cream Soda!
I dont ike angel kisses myself... its more popular with the elderly in our country... lol
Also you should try "Romantics" they're a much sweeter less strong version of the angle kisses😊
It's cachous similar to the silver cachous you decorate cakes with 🙃
To help you with your lolipop problem you could hit it on the counter till you feel it crack then unwrap it so you can just try a chunk, I myself don't like wooden ice lolly sticks
the angel kisses u must eat a lot at once so u don't get the after taste and yes we do get tex bar here in South Africa
I'm shocked no one has sent you a 'lollipops of {country name}' just to torture you lol xx
+Stephanie I love lollipops but those paper sticks Oh goodness LOL
Cheeky Tam Hehe
Tam it's because your opening the lollipops wrong you have to twist the bottom of the wrapper
Love u tam!
Pretty sure we have Nik Naks in England
They're a Walkers brand in England right?
yeah I think so
are you left handed
musk sweets is the best... we also have stronger musk sweets in SA..
I've never seen anyone cuddle a bag of chips before.
wow nik naks are very similar to the UK nik naks but ours is thinner and not cheese just BBQ spicy and lemon
10\10
Im from South Africa and im not a fan of the musk, though i will eat them if they're there.
