I was there at this concert, the only person to wear 1960's psychedelic clothes, that's okay, I felt part of the crowd that will remember seeing Nick Mason in person on drums forever (I even heard myself screaming on this vid when the first organ note for ECHOES played hehe). A bucket list for my life to remember Pink Floyd that formed the year before I was born. Thanks for sharing ❤
@66Misspixie you're very welcome. It's not the same as being there but it brings back good memories of the night, and there were many people there having a great night to remember :)
I’m too young at 23 years to have attended any Pink Floyd concerts. So as an avid PF fan I was not about to pass down this once in a lifetime opportunity to see them when they were live in Melbourne last year. Probably the last time any PF member will ever be in Australia. But my god, was this one hell of a concert. I do enjoy all the more well known songs globally, but I have something special in terms of passion for all the older albums before Dark Side. Getting to experience what was the ‘truest’ form of Pink Floyd has been the best experience of my life to date.
@TheLoneRailrider it was a great night and while there were some of the early songs I knew there were a lot I didn't and showed how their sound changed but how influential some of their early stuff has been.
@@StoneYeti it really was. Nick played two nights in NYC and we were lucky to be at he one where Roger joined. The following night he did not. We almost got tickets for the other show instead because it was a Friday. I'm glad we somehow got the Thursday tickets instead.
Thank you Mr Yeti! Saw this same performance from a metre or so behind you so this is a great memento! BTW absolutely LOVED the show. My favourite PF era! BTW the perfect venue standing non-allocated. UFO club 1967!!
@stephencoats1501 you're very welcome, it was a brilliant night :) . UFO club in '67 might be a little before my time but I see Pink Floyd performed there multiple times in the clubs short life. Would have been awesome to see them in the early days :)
If this was Roger's band or David's it would have been allocated seating and far more polite and sterile. This was vibrant living music. This venue was perfect and brought it back to Earth (except for Astronomy Domine!). Far out and cool. A perfect setlist for me.@@StoneYeti
Thanks for this. Saw them in Brisbane last night but couldn't see much as the biggest bloke in the building was sat in front of me. Sound was great though.
@sstat00 you're very welcome. It's a pity you couldn't see properly. This show was as much about the sound as the visual so hopefully that didn't take too much away from the experience for you.

Beautiful Thankyou
@janeklein9941, you're very welcome, was a great night :)
Saw them in NYC and Roger joined them. Would live to see them again. Performing Echoes is epic.
@deadringer28 that would have been awesome :)

@@stephencoats1501 I've seen Roger once and it was a spectacular and great show, but yeah very different vibe. This did feel more grass-roots.

Pietosa situazione, consultate un dizionario italiano-inglese per la traduzione... pitiful,probably...
