What a great song. His vocals were incredible. The video was strange. I will definitely listen to that again..........

Great reaction! I too love how he's using his voice, the little cries and gasps and trembling vibrato.. brings forth the emotional pain behind the lyrics so well. I see how it could be easily interpreted as a love song.. but to me it's about how we are attracted to superficial things and don't see what's important in our lives =) It's a great song and work of art and it'll touch everyone differently.

"Come feed the rain" is connected to the "I'm thirsty for your love." Her love is (as important as) water, he drinks it, and she is the source of it, makes the rain.
However I think this video has another thing going than the lyrics. Because we see spirals and mirrors reflecting all the time. I think it tells we are shown illusions and tricks, we are hypnotized. See the spirals reflecting in her mask's glasses. She is eating similarly spiralled lollypop. Nobody else has a gas mask, so she really doesn't need it. It's not thre to protect her, but to keep her from seeing and hearing, the glasses always reflect what she sees. In the end she turns back as if thinking something was wrong, did she see right, did she miss something.

The more you feed the rain, the more quickly you rust. Carnival of rust.

"Come feed the rain" could refer to her tears - if you feed the fire you put fuel onto it. So if you 'feed the rain' you might add to it with your tears. Just a thought.

Yes, adding more sorrow into their broken relationship.

Yeah, "War" and "Late Goodbye" go kind of hand to hand together 🤗. Also you might probably like their song "Where do we draw the line".

Song is about of greed. Feed the rain is like feed the greed. Don't go away... I need more from you. Shit, people don't get it even it's said so clear.

Rain is symbol of crying, so "come feed the rain" come give me reasons for crying ;)
