Well I am known for my Chuck Taylor's haha. Although I just finished a trip where I didn't take them. They weren't appropriate footwear for Yellowknife, Canada and even the Arctic Circle 🤔.
Wow. Supermissouricalifragilisticexpialidocious views!! Love the view of Lambert there. I've been to both of the airports many times. They're both just over 3 hours from SEA. This is so much faster than the Amtrak train that used to run between these 2 cities.
Loved seeing Wheeler Downtown Airport in KC and the overview of STL-Lambert International. Having lived in STL for college and near KC most of my life, I'm familiar with both cities. My very first flight, in 1966, was on a TWA Convair 880 between the old MKC downtown (now Wheeler) to Louisville (SDF) with a stop in STL. Loved trying to pick out sights in STL - like the Arch and my old college.
Another beautiful updated resume travel trip reports and the filming edition captured camera work looks spectacular gorgeous, as always beautiful amazing work, thanks again and keep rocking my friend .. Merci beaucoup
If only they'd waited about a minute longer to bring us around, we would've gotten an even better view! Oh well, still pretty great! Thanks for watching!
Wow, you got some amazing footage of all of central St Louis. Too bad you were vectored north so quickly or you would have gotten some of Downtown KC as well.
Yeah and the same on the descent. If they'd had us continue east for just a bit longer we would've gotten even better views of downtown St. Louis. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoy them my friend! Thanks for taking the time to watch!
Wow! Nice full flight video! Takeoff was absolutely stunning! Thank you! By the way, do you ever get downtime every once in a while to spend with your wife and child? Is your child a boy or girl and how old are they?
Yes. I'm actually home far more than I'm in the air. I travel roughly 8 days per month and I'm able to get enough footage in that time to post all month. And my daughter is almost 4 now.
I remember back in 2000 (flying TWA mind you) going from MCI to STL just so we could take a direct flight from STL to OGG -I remember thinking at the time hmmm let's fly east to go west...haha
Ah yes. Getting to see the Colorado plains, from onboard your plane, as you head over the plains again to get to your next plane. See what I did there haha. Thanks for watching guys!
No. Although my laptop is retired from that work. It hasn't rendered a video out since 2020 when I bought the iMac. Being nearly 10 years old, it doesn't have the strength to render out the file sizes I deal with now. It does still accompany on trips though. I'm typing this reply with it and it's currently being used to store some of the footage from this trip on its SSD.
I always enjoy your videos.
Especially like the part when you get your feet comfortable before the flight!
Me too!

I might have to do the Amtrak journey just once. Just to say I've done it haha.

Man, what I'd do to fly a Convair 880 today haha.
Excellent video of Kansas City take off on SW737
Thanks for watching my friend!

Man, great view here: 50:37 (St Louis Arch)

Love to see the Gateway Arch!
Great vid 👍

Haven’t flown MCI-STL in years. I’ve never seen MCI’s new terminal in person.
It's quite the upgrade from the old ones. I hope you get to visit it soon!

I really hope you get to take your wife and daughter on a trip and film it. That would be something. @@sla31

أي بلد ذهبت؟
Did the same route in September except in reverse. Annoyingly i had to fly from Denver to STL then to KC to get there.
Unfortunate that KC isn’t a focus city for SWA. StL and Nashville got those spots taken up.

I got second place 🥈 in a bowling alley tournament that is from Friday morning to afternoon
Congrats my friend!
@@sla31 thank you
What is MCI??
Kansas City International Airport.
Great video btw!
Is southwest a good airline??
Yes.
The plane is taxiing quite too fast.
Wow! How interesting! Thanks for this! Appreciate all your ways of seeing! : )
Thanks my friend! I appreciate you taking the time to watch!
Great fly! Does your MacBook or iMac get overheated when rendering video after editing it?
No. Although my laptop is retired from that work. It hasn't rendered a video out since 2020 when I bought the iMac.
