I love how Ian seems to be one of the few people that constantly makes Anthony laugh. I have been watching his show but since he joined Smosh again he seems more happy than before

I mean, before the split they were best friends for years. It makes sense that Ian would have a good idea of what Anthony might think constitutes an angry letter. Or at least, that Anthony's worries might be bigger than anything he would have actually wrote.

So as nice as this is,and as happy as we all are, i have to say this. I had a best friend. We had a falling out and stopped speaking for years. Later we reconnected and it was like jenny and forrest. We were like peas and carrots. But it wasnt the same. We both knew it. We tried to "force it" to work but realized we outgrew each other. I hope this doesnt happen here
yea i see your point. i do think they can recognize that though because i have heard anthony talk about it on the smoshcast. so hopefully they can continue to have good communication with each other
They have been reconnecting over a year
I think why it’s working is because they’re getting to know each other all over again, and they like the people they both have grown into. They aren’t holding on to who they were as teenagers, this is an entirely new friendship developing as adults. They are completely different people now and not trying to force anything. They spent time together and found that they still have chemistry when it comes to making sketches. I think the biggest thing they discovered is how much better they both are at communicating, and that’s making it easier to reconnect and develop this new friendship!
I mean same happened to me with my best friend. We weren’t in contact for only a year though so is not like we changed drastically from who we were before. But we clicked again fairly fast. I wonder if they are still like actually best friends or just went back as friends.
