All the students who just passed 12th or thinking about doing CA then remember If you want to do it then understand how ICAI works, First you will easily crack entrance exam with a little bit dedication then you have to attend two classes a day of 4 hrs. each. And even if you survive that you have to work as an intern for 3 long years for which they pay Rs.2000 only. And then came the hardest part CA final. Do this course only if you are interested in doing this with passion and willing to work hard for almost 7 to 10 years if you are not lucky enough. CA is a product of pure and hard work along with PURE LUCK. All the best 👍

But some of my friends say that you have no option other than CA to succeed in commerce field and Getting into Top MBA college is not easy ..... So you have to do CA .... @@sharpshooter3033 let me tell you by my experience.. i cleared ca entrance in 2012 and gave ipcc groups attempt 4 times but what I noticed my marks were decreasing with every attempt. I quit CA in 2014 because I knew I can't study for long hours or you can say my mind can't be able to store too much information, as the syllabus was very vast. My advice to you is that if you can store a lot of information of every subject and can study with full concentration for long hours(say atleast 8 hrs a day) than you can opt for CA or else you will regret of can't be able to focus on your graduation. I lost my 3 years back than also my graduation marks affected. I hope you get some help with my experience but do as what your my mind capable of, what I can tell you out of 50 friends of mine who cleared cpt with me only 1 able to become CA that too in this same year in Jan.. so you can see it took him around 10 to 11 years to become chartered accountant.
@@vinsstyles6337 same happening with me brother [i m an average student in school, but in 12th with hardwork and healthy competion and tuitions i got 92% in commerce] RIGHT from 12th end i m clear that ca is difficult but i m also clear i will do cs or cma , but bec. of peer pressure i joined ca i cleared CA Foundation in 2nd attempt then after that i took F2F class from Toppers classes(Laxmi Nagar) bec. i clrd foundation studying from them only i took inter coaching from them and it was my wrong decision i failed May22 . i continuously failed in my 4th attempt nov23 .My marks and self confidence decreasing. and now i think i should give inter G2 in may24 but after actually studying for it , i am feeling scared, tensed, alone, family pressure, relatives pressure, society pressure, peer pressure as all my friends cleared inter, also not getting interest in any of the subjects , I LOST MY "WHY" OF DOING CA , feels like i m of no use (AN AVERAGE STUDENT TURNED SCHOLAR IS NOW A FAILURE)
I am a big 4 auditor. I was going through the comments and noticed that lot of people can relate to this story. The journey of becoming CA is tough but not worthless until and unless you have absolutely different passion in life. So get inspired with this story but don't give up on becoming CA.
First of all I am not doing CA but my experience says .. That If you r doing articleship into parent's close friend's firm or relative's firm , half of ur CA's pressure relaxed. Easy office work, any time leave,best training, hefty leaves before and during exam .No harrasement. Chances of clearing exam is more for those in above category..
Good shorts I got 18th rank in ipcc, as per my opinion, A CA course is not only just examination and training it increases ur ability to tackle any problem in our life.
Do tell me with your 'ability to tackle problems' , what in that sentence of yours needed your ipcc rank to be stated and emphasised? Cliche perhaps. And it's not you I want to point out, it's the general thing I see people doing. And it's like putting a sticker on a forehead of a rank. Its good for you to get a deserving rank but dont throw it to random faces expecting it will increase ur credibility and everyone will take u more seriously because of it. I am not speaking out of any hatered, i am speaking out of psychology. Hope this is understood by everyone.
I am also doing CA and yes it wasn't my choice. I have no disregards for this career. I respect this course but those who are saying that he is a loser or whatever please understand its not easy to get up everyday and drag yourself to a job in which you don't have any passion. The guy did right he respected his parents and worked hard for their dream and then took the courage to leave everything to follow your passion. It takes guts specially in a country like India where people just don't get the concept of happiness and will call you loser or pagal for finishing CA and becoming a singer or anything. I'm a chartered accountant and for me it was a long journey probably longer than others. Not good at giving advice but whatever it is that you seek to do in life make sure it is something which excites you as in the end you would only do justice to the things you truly love doing. Never the less proud to be a C.A.
Opted for CA out of my lack of understanding and guidance and pressure from teachers. After articleship I am totally sure I don't belong to this field. My advice for students who want to choose this field as a career option is that you must be aware of the work and life as a CA. You must consult a reliable person before going for this field. Do the ground research very well. And as said in the video don't opt for any career out of family or peer pressure.
I think ca institute shall be closed .playing with future of youth. After wasting 10 yrs of life they get salary equal to bank po bed teacher .no campus placement no abroad opportunity no audit .

Really a motivation for everyone I failed a number of times in ipc bt couldn't give up nd m a finalist now.. I find it as an achievement coz it was all I have ever dreamt of being an average student my whole life hope for being a CA someday.

CA is the best profession i chose it myself after i didn't get scholarship seat in mbbs. CA makes you a sword a full combination of many masters but the video was great.
I am a Chartered Accountant and can correlate this story of Rohan except that I cleared my CA in first attempt....... But most of the CA aspirants despite of intelligence have to undergo multiple attempts particularly when internship is from Big 4s Like KPMG, E and Y, Deloitte, PWC.... I used to sing songs in the similar way during my CA preparation journey as Rohan did and I still do the same :) Kudos to the entire team of Gabblin for the acting and the portrayal of a journey of CA student..... The story must be like a ca aspirant who is compromising, sacrificing his special moments of life, facing financial crisis and struggling to survive but he refuses to give up and finally he fulfills his dream and becomes chartered accountant that changed his life. A lot of such kind of stories are there in real life.

I like the subtlety of the message that each on of your videos attempt to give. When I watch your content in 2022, its quite different but the subtle message /takeaways remain the same. I think the audience today wants to watch vlogging content (look at their shit content, well, mostly and subs in millions) which is more like a TV series-every previous episode connects to the next. Relatable! I used to be rank holder in school times in every class. Commerce liya vo meri life ka sabse achha decision tha, lekin commerce me CA karna shayad utna achha decision nhi rha. Cleared CPT in first attempt. Ipcc ki preparations bhi shidhhat se karna start kardi, Lekin dil ko Sukoon nahi mila subjects padh ke, andar se aisa hi lag rha tha ke itna maza nahi aayega. Kyunki roz vohi office, roz boss ke taane, roz jo changes aate hai unko padhna. Lag rha tha ke meri personality ko suit nahi karega. Exam ke 21 days ke aage sir ghoomne laga, padha tha sab kuch, aata tha sab kuch, lekin haath likh nahi rha tha. Haath ne kaam bandh kar diya aur aankho ne shuru kar diya. Mummy Papa ke pas jake rone laga. Bola CA nahi karna hai! Hard lagta hai. Papa ne bola hard lagta hai isiliye aisa sochrha hai to galat hai. Thoda aaram karle. Muje bhi laga shayad ke aaram hi nahi kiya is liye taklif hai padhai me. Aaram kiya aur fir se lag gaya padhai me. 1st attempt of IPCC, huge failure. Sab ne bola koi baat nahi, 2nd attempt in November 17, failed again. Third attempt may 18, again failed and going to give my laat attempt in November 18. Pass hua to may 19 me second group karke CA inter banke zindagi me jo dil kahe vo karoonga. Fail hona to abhi option hi nahi hai.

Hi! I genuinely want your response on this. Currently I'm doing CA course , I cleared my entrance exam and now am in intermediate level. The thing is that am doing CA just for mom. My mom's dream is that I become a successful Charted Accountant. I don't like CA course that much although my grasping power is nice and am good with numbers. But I just don't want 9 to 5 job. I'm 19 now and I'm a pianist, I also teach piano. I started taking piano classes when I was in 11th grade. Currently I'm teaching 25 students. I don't want to make piano as my career, to be very clear I want to do business (precisely in food industry) I tried convincing my mom but she said keep CA as your backup plan. What would you suggest? What would you do if you were in my place ?
Honestly, I wouldn't go for the course. Creating CA as a backup option will demand too much energy from you. Life is short. Do what you want to do. You need to go behind whatever you want to do as soon as you want to.
I would say make up to be a piano teacher. ...infact learn other instruments too ...notmuch effort will be required as u already know one how to play......effort in CA is needed for those who doesn't have any skill...skill can do wonders

Very motivational video, I just have a question my son is doing IPCC and everyone says he can make it easily and a brilliant in coaching centre but in last failed two times with huge 60 marks difference, I told him not to worry if you can make next time and if you wanna quit CA you can any time and there will be no pressure by us. But still he is preparing for next Nov, 2018 exams. What should I do to movtivate him and think positively?

I spent my 6-7 months without studying properly and after that exams are very soon .....i am not afraid ....i am still confident....i can do this and clear it in one shot .....hope h toh sab possible h .... I Guess the world has created so much negative talks about CA internship, I feel I'm so lucky with that. My principal is always motivating me and I don't mind giving extra efforts, those long hours season are best to create right attitude. You can either cry or enjoy.
Thank god I failed in CA IPCC, and could not go forward, i went for MBA where i realised my passion for marketing and sales. Today i am doing great which i think was a great decision. Think before its too late, choosing alternate is no harm, Also people can do MBA in finance as well from top IIM's and earn pretty well from CA's as well till its related to corporate job Woh kehte hai na jo hota hai ache ke liye hota hai !!! *Forwarded as received* Average Salary of CA fresher in 2011 was 5-7 lakh p.a Average Salary of CA fresher in 2021 is 6 to 7.5 lakh p.a Inflation index of 2011-12 was 184 Inflation index of 2021-22 is 311 Means In this 10 years Inflation rises from 2011 to 2021 is whooping 70% And salary's of a chartered accountants rises only 10-15% Where 3-4 articles required to do a particular task in one CA office at that time i.e( in year 2011), Now the same work is done by one Article only due to technology. Salary of chartered accounts is less then MBA and Bcom qualified from a top collages Accountant monthly earnings is more then chartered accountant now days It clearly shows that Artificial intelligence will going to effects very severely to future Chartered accountants... Nobody comes to CA for tax filling now days ( many apps are available ) Government is increasing the limit for GST audit and tax audit. Soon MCA will also set higher limit for company audit.Very tough times for CAs Proposed statutory audit relaxation for 99% companies by NFRA. CA certification not required for MCA form now Acca are stealing the job of chartered accountants big 4 and many consulting firms prefer Acca over CA's The main reason is why ICAI increasing the difficulty level of Papers is demand of CA's in industry is very less.. It is estimated that work of Qualified charterd accountant will reduce to 50% and Demand of Articles will reduce to 20% after 3-5 years Advice for current students Start focusing on one more field with CA course.. For example CA + sharemarket CA + Ethical hacking/machine learning CA + MBA from top collage CA+ Business This course not like CAT and all other exams where enterance is toughest and exit is ease so that if student is unable to crack entrance he/she can go for other alternative in his early age.. But unfortunatly in CA its totally opposite There are many old students from several years are still stuck in this course and are at no where in their life In such time and in such hard work you can do many other things and add some value and achieve success... This course will not give you the worth the hardship, torture pressure and mental trauma are involved World is moving very fast.. And this course is still focus on rattafication.. And not changed much.. Like mba cfa and other courses... Many CA's are working for low as 15-25 thousand month in tier 2 cities The future will be of Technologies artificial intelligence smartphones e commerce, Data Analytics data science,social media marketing cryptocurrencies, graphic designing designing etc etc Plus this course is very cubersome It looks like 5 Year Course but it generally takes a 10 years as attempts and Failure is common and after passing CA final if you start practicing you will need extra 3-4 years to earn bread and butter for you ... In reality Actual passing % of CA is just .08 to .09% which no one tells you Say If 1000 student appearing in ca foundation only 300 student will pass and qualify for ca inter as passing % of foundation is 30% From that 300 students 60 students pass and qualify for ca final As passing % of inter is 20 % both grp And from that 60 students only 9 students will qualify CA finals as the passing % of ca finals is 15% So overall pass % of CA = 9/1000 × 100 =0.9% And in these 9 students 3-4 students are thoes who are All India rank holders & super intelligent and toppers from there academics.. So for average and below average even for above average students it takes lot of years too pass CA

Yaar agar CA ko lekar passionate nahi ho to seriously chod dena chahiye. CA kya koi bhi carrier agar aap sirf parents ki vajah se kar rahe ho to aap life main kabhi bhi khush nahi reh paoge. & this can't be every CA aspirants story because there are so many CA aspirants who want to become CA because they really want to become & not because their parents are telling them to do so.

It took me 5 attempts to clear ca IPC... But i cleared my ca final group 1 in my second attempt and going to give group 2 in this June.. Last ho ga yehh... And then hopefully it would be done... It seems tough to overcome failures but once it is done feeling cant be described in words. It's your life friends lead it acc to you don't fear abt anything.

@@sharpshooter3033 let me tell you by my experience.. i cleared ca entrance in 2012 and gave ipcc groups attempt 4 times but what I noticed my marks were decreasing with every attempt. I quit CA in 2014 because I knew I can't study for long hours or you can say my mind can't be able to store too much information, as the syllabus was very vast. My advice to you is that if you can store a lot of information of every subject and can study with full concentration for long hours(say atleast 8 hrs a day) than you can opt for CA or else you will regret of can't be able to focus on your graduation. I lost my 3 years back than also my graduation marks affected. I hope you get some help with my experience but do as what your my mind capable of, what I can tell you out of 50 friends of mine who cleared cpt with me only 1 able to become CA that too in this same year in Jan.. so you can see it took him around 10 to 11 years to become chartered accountant.

i cleared CA Foundation in 2nd attempt then after that i took F2F class from Toppers classes(Laxmi Nagar) bec. i clrd foundation studying from them only i took inter coaching from them and it was my wrong decision i failed May22 . i continuously failed in my 4th attempt nov23 .My marks and self confidence decreasing. and now i think i should give inter G2 in may24 but after actually studying for it , i am feeling scared, tensed, alone, family pressure, relatives pressure, society pressure, peer pressure as all my friends cleared inter, also not getting interest in any of the subjects , I LOST MY "WHY" OF DOING CA , feels like i m of no use

but my experience says ..
That If you r doing articleship into parent's close friend's firm or relative's firm , half of ur CA's pressure relaxed. Easy office work, any time leave,best training, hefty leaves before and during exam .No harrasement.
Chances of clearing exam is more for those in above category..

Good shorts I got 18th rank in ipcc, as per my opinion, A CA course is not only just examination and training it increases ur ability to tackle any problem in our life.
Do tell me with your 'ability to tackle problems' , what in that sentence of yours needed your ipcc rank to be stated and emphasised? Cliche perhaps. And it's not you I want to point out, it's the general thing I see people doing. And it's like putting a sticker on a forehead of a rank. Its good for you to get a deserving rank but dont throw it to random faces expecting it will increase ur credibility and everyone will take u more seriously because of it. I am not speaking out of any hatered, i am speaking out of psychology. Hope this is understood by everyone.

I am also doing CA and yes it wasn't my choice. I have no disregards for this career. I respect this course but those who are saying that he is a loser or whatever please understand its not easy to get up everyday and drag yourself to a job in which you don't have any passion. The guy did right he respected his parents and worked hard for their dream and then took the courage to leave everything to follow your passion. It takes guts specially in a country like India where people just don't get the concept of happiness and will call you loser or pagal for finishing CA and becoming a singer or anything. Thank you for this video. It encouraged me to fight through more of these 2 years of articleship and learn a more about myself and then live the rest of my life on my terms.

I'm a chartered accountant and for me it was a long journey probably longer than others. Not good at giving advice but whatever it is that you seek to do in life make sure it is something which excites you as in the end you would only do justice to the things you truly love doing. Never the less proud to be a C.A.

Opted for CA out of my lack of understanding and guidance and pressure from teachers. After articleship I am totally sure I don't belong to this field. My advice for students who want to choose this field as a career option is that you must be aware of the work and life as a CA. You must consult a reliable person before going for this field. Do the ground research very well. And as said in the video don't opt for any career out of family or peer pressure.
I think ca institute shall be closed .playing with future of youth. After wasting 10 yrs of life they get salary equal to bank po bed teacher .no campus placement no abroad opportunity no audit .

CA is the best profession i chose it myself after i didn't get scholarship seat in mbbs. CA makes you a sword a full combination of many masters but the video was great.
I am a Chartered Accountant and can correlate this story of Rohan except that I cleared my CA in first attempt....... But most of the CA aspirants despite of intelligence have to undergo multiple attempts particularly when internship is from Big 4s Like KPMG, E and Y, Deloitte, PWC.... I used to sing songs in the similar way during my CA preparation journey as Rohan did and I still do the same :) Kudos to the entire team of Gabblin for the acting and the portrayal of a journey of CA student..... The story must be like a ca aspirant who is compromising, sacrificing his special moments of life, facing financial crisis and struggling to survive but he refuses to give up and finally he fulfills his dream and becomes chartered accountant that changed his life. A lot of such kind of stories are there in real life.

I like the subtlety of the message that each on of your videos attempt to give. When I watch your content in 2022, its quite different but the subtle message /takeaways remain the same. I think the audience today wants to watch vlogging content (look at their shit content, well, mostly and subs in millions) which is more like a TV series-every previous episode connects to the next. I definitely feel your content is worth a few million subscribers after these many years. You need to put data and analytics to use-look at the reasons why people aren't subscribing. Good Luck!

Relatable! I used to be rank holder in school times in every class. Commerce liya vo meri life ka sabse achha decision tha, lekin commerce me CA karna shayad utna achha decision nhi rha. Cleared CPT in first attempt. Ipcc ki preparations bhi shidhhat se karna start kardi, Lekin dil ko Sukoon nahi mila subjects padh ke, andar se aisa hi lag rha tha ke itna maza nahi aayega. Kyunki roz vohi office, roz boss ke taane, roz jo changes aate hai unko padhna. Lag rha tha ke meri personality ko suit nahi karega. Exam ke 21 days ke aage sir ghoomne laga, padha tha sab kuch, aata tha sab kuch, lekin haath likh nahi rha tha. Haath ne kaam bandh kar diya aur aankho ne shuru kar diya. Mummy Papa ke pas jake rone laga. Bola CA nahi karna hai! Hard lagta hai. Papa ne bola hard lagta hai isiliye aisa sochrha hai to galat hai. Thoda aaram karle. Muje bhi laga shayad ke aaram hi nahi kiya is liye taklif hai padhai me. Aaram kiya aur fir se lag gaya padhai me. 1st attempt of IPCC, huge failure. Sab ne bola koi baat nahi, 2nd attempt in November 17, failed again. Third attempt may 18, again failed and going to give my laat attempt in November 18. Pass hua to may 19 me second group karke CA inter banke zindagi me jo dil kahe vo karoonga. Fail hona to abhi option hi nahi hai.

Currently I'm doing CA course , I cleared my entrance exam and now am in intermediate level.
The thing is that am doing CA just for mom. My mom's dream is that I become a successful Charted Accountant. I don't like CA course that much although my grasping power is nice and am good with numbers. But I just don't want 9 to 5 job. I'm 19 now and I'm a pianist, I also teach piano. I started taking piano classes when I was in 11th grade. Currently I'm teaching 25 students. I don't want to make piano as my career, to be very clear I want to do business (precisely in food industry)
I tried convincing my mom but she said keep CA as your backup plan.
What would you suggest? What would you do if you were in my place ?
Honestly, I wouldn't go for the course.
Creating CA as a backup option will demand too much energy from you.
Life is short. Do what you want to do. You need to go behind whatever you want to do as soon as you want to.
I would say make up to be a piano teacher. ...infact learn other instruments too ...notmuch effort will be required as u already know one how to play......effort in CA is needed for those who doesn't have any skill...skill can do wonders

I Guess the world has created so much negative talks about CA internship, I feel I'm so lucky with that. My principal is always motivating me and I don't mind giving extra efforts, those long hours season are best to create right attitude. You can either cry or enjoy.

Thank god I failed in CA IPCC, and could not go forward, i went for MBA where i realised my passion for marketing and sales. Today i am doing great which i think was a great decision.
Think before its too late, choosing alternate is no harm,
Also people can do MBA in finance as well from top IIM's and earn pretty well from CA's as well till its related to corporate job

Average Salary of CA fresher in 2011 was 5-7 lakh p.a
Average Salary of CA fresher in 2021 is 6 to 7.5 lakh p.a
Inflation index of 2011-12 was 184
Inflation index of 2021-22 is 311
Means In this 10 years Inflation rises from 2011 to 2021 is whooping 70%
And salary's of a chartered accountants rises only 10-15%
Where 3-4 articles required to do a particular task in one CA office at that time i.e( in year 2011), Now the same work is done by one Article only due to technology.
Salary of chartered accounts is less then MBA and Bcom qualified from a top collages
Accountant monthly earnings is more then chartered accountant now days
It clearly shows that Artificial intelligence will going to effects very severely to future Chartered accountants...
Nobody comes to CA for tax filling now days ( many apps are available )
Government is increasing the limit for GST audit and tax audit. Soon MCA will also set higher limit for company audit.Very tough times for CAs
Proposed statutory audit relaxation for 99% companies by NFRA.
CA certification not required for MCA form now
Acca are stealing the job of chartered accountants big 4 and many consulting firms prefer Acca over CA's
The main reason is why ICAI increasing the difficulty level of Papers is demand of CA's in industry is very less..
It is estimated that work of Qualified charterd accountant will reduce to 50% and Demand of Articles will reduce to 20% after 3-5 years
Advice for current students
Start focusing on one more field with CA course..
For example
CA + sharemarket
CA + Ethical hacking/machine learning
CA + MBA from top collage
CA+ Business
This course not like CAT and all other exams where enterance is toughest and exit is ease so that if student is unable to crack entrance he/she can go for other alternative in his early age..
But unfortunatly in CA its totally opposite
There are many old students from several years are still stuck in this course and are at no where in their life
In such time and in such hard work you can do many other things and add some value and achieve success... This course will not give you the worth the hardship, torture pressure and mental trauma are involved
World is moving very fast.. And this course is still focus on rattafication.. And not changed much.. Like mba cfa and other courses...
Many CA's are working for low as 15-25 thousand month in tier 2 cities
The future will be of Technologies artificial intelligence smartphones e commerce, Data Analytics data science,social media marketing cryptocurrencies, graphic designing designing etc etc
Plus this course is very cubersome It looks like 5 Year Course but it generally takes a 10 years as attempts and Failure is common and after passing CA final if you start practicing you will need extra 3-4 years to earn bread and butter for you ...
In reality Actual passing % of CA is just .08 to .09% which no one tells you
Say
If 1000 student appearing in ca foundation only 300 student will pass and qualify for ca inter as passing % of foundation is 30%
From that 300 students 60 students pass and qualify for ca final
As passing % of inter is 20 % both grp
And from that 60 students only 9 students will qualify CA finals as the passing % of ca finals is 15%
So overall pass % of CA = 9/1000 × 100 =0.9%
And in these 9 students 3-4 students are thoes who are All India rank holders & super intelligent and toppers from there academics..
So for average and below average even for above average students it takes lot of years too pass CA

Yaar agar CA ko lekar passionate nahi ho to seriously chod dena chahiye. CA kya koi bhi carrier agar aap sirf parents ki vajah se kar rahe ho to aap life main kabhi bhi khush nahi reh paoge. & this can't be every CA aspirants story because there are so many CA aspirants who want to become CA because they really want to become & not because their parents are telling them to do so.
I'm preparing for CA foundation... ND I'm firm determined to become a CA...

I m doing CA coz I didn't got any other option and to continue my studies I forced to pursue CA.... Still on the edge of completing CA am confused that did I made correct choice...

And the funniest thing about the society is;
When I used to DJ, some of my friends' parents stopped even talking to me and now after joining CA, they all started to talk to me and treating me well! Weird mentality I tell you 🙄

I started writing poetry in cpt now i am at articleship stage....and i had done 15 poetry....
Do what you love not what others wants
It took me 5 attempts to clear ca IPC... But i cleared my ca final group 1 in my second attempt and going to give group 2 in this June.. Last ho ga yehh... And then hopefully it would be done... It seems tough to overcome failures but once it is done feeling cant be described in words. It's your life friends lead it acc to you don't fear abt anything.
