Welcome to my Pantry Challenge 2023! I'm ready for some great cooking challenges this year! Let me know in the comments what your fabulous recipe ideas are for corn flake crumbs, pineapple, oatmeal or any other items you spy in my challenge pantry!

Some people use corn flake crumbs as breading. I feel like you could use it as a binder in meatballs/meat loaf

I made oat milk for the first time this week, going to make an apple oatmeal cake, corn flakes can be used like gram crackers and make a pie crust or a crumble on top of a pie, that gave me an idea apple pie regular bottom crust and cornflake topping, make a home made shake and bake with cornflakes too. or a pineapple pie poured into a cornflake crust. I need to stop looking at food videos tonight LOL

My family uses French bread for pizza nights, and we slice them in half and just top them opened faced and eat them that way. They get crispy, but not too bad since you are only having to cook them long enough for the toppings to melt/cook. It's our favorite way to do pizza night.

For the pineapple add it to some fried rice. The stuffing is good for a simple layered casserole. Pulled or cubed ccoked chicken topped with gravy then cranberry sauce. Topped with stuffing and bake until desired crispiness.
The spaghetti looked great. I like to mix the leftover noodles in sauce and the next day I fry it in butter and top with parmesan, garlic and crushed red peppers.
Use some mayonnaise to coat chicken and roll in corn flakes. So good!

It is 1/2 cup powdered milk, 1/2 cup corn syrup, 1/2 cup peanut butter and 1/2 cup chocolate chips or, nuts, or seeds. Mix together and form into a ball about the size of a walnut. Enjoy. For cornflakes crumbs and use some spices and herbs mix and place in zip lock bag and coat your chicken drumsticks and use cooking spray to coat the chicken drumsticks and place on a baking sheet pan and bake in a oven 180 deg for 35 mins. My mom always made pork chops with sauerkraut and onions. On the stove top . About 20 mins before serving, she would put stuffing mix in bowl, mix in very small amount of water, like 1/4 cup? Enough to stick together but not be wet. Shape into baseball/ soft ball shape. Put on top of the cooked pork chops. Gently simmer until moist and done. Would retain the baseball/ softball shape. Childhood fave, and the ball shape is what made it so good.

Just added sugar a bit of water, cream and rice cooked in broth. It was really good. For your condensed milk and graham crackers I think you could make hello dolly squares. Awesome start to have specific items you are focusing on using up.
-Stovetop stuffing in meatloaf is amazing. Keeps the meatloaf nice and moist and also helps if you are using a fattier cut of ground beef.
-Powdered Kale is the perfect addition to smoothies, soups, casseroles, omelets, scalloped potatoes..etc. Greens boosters are a real thing and cost a fortune! You made yours. ❤️
-Skim milk powder may not be to your taste for drinking or on cereal but mix it up and keep it in the fridge and use it for all recipes & coffee. It works fantastic and you would never know the difference in cooked food.
The egg cups looked fantastic. I find them so helpful when I am trying to stay on track for breakfasts. Such an easy grab and go. I've never used pastry on the bottom of mine. Great idea. I have a can of crescent rolls in the fridge that's been there so long it's got a few little rusty spots on the metal. Lol.

Kale powder in smoothies, spaghetti sauce, chili, when it is ground that fine a tablespoon here or there is fine. The stovetop stuffing, I used it instead of crackers in a meatloaf. So yummy. I added an egg, ketchup, a few shakes of Worcestershire sauce and the stuffing mix. It was a tad dry so maybe add 2 tablespoons of water but I used ground turkey so beef might be fine.

Jessica you can’t get that broccoli casserole to brown you’re just gonna burn the noodles and burn the broccoli because there’s nothing on there to get toasty.. If you would’ve put the Parmesan on the top before you broiled it you would’ve had a nice crunchy topping but also with the cottage cheese melt and it’s not so lumpy… I’m used to cooking with cottage cheese because I’m Jewish and we make noodle kugel and you kind of want to get that cottage cheese to melt down to make it more appetizing looking

Day two; Spaghetti with tomatoe, slowcooked beef and veggie sauce or the recipe above with the cottage cheese.
