I like keeping only a few things out too. It also helps to teach them how to pick up after themselves. I used pictures last year so they can see what goes where. This year the director wanted to use color coded buckets and shelves for our 3s.
Love your vids. Can u also do vid on redirecting threes who ignore and crawl around on floor and play w toys while the rest of the class is listening to story etc? Help!
@@kristieshanahan3746 - My assistant tries to sit with them at circle. If they still are not wanting to be there, they can be close in the reading area. If it’s a number of children, that tells me we need to try a different activity (music, usually) or cut our circle time short.
Hey, I'm a pre school Teacher, and I have one girl in my class, 3years old, I have the girl the whole school year, but she doesn't say I word through out, her mom sends me home videos where she's talking and saying what we learn in class, she is still in my class this section and still not talking to me or anyone in class, is there anything I can do to make her talk...desperately need your help please. Thank you.😢

I don't like losing puzzles and toy pieces either so we have rules for many reasons and they learn what they can and can't do.
