You dont necessarily need to do anything to the wolverine figure to get the sleeved arms off, with the right leverage they both pop right off, Robo demonstrated this in his playday video about the figure. You were right though that mileage may vary, heating is the safest bet if youre not impatient
I'm so glad we have A official MCU Wolverine as well! I know people would love to see him continue as Wolverine, but I'd love for us to have a new one as well as Jackman continuing the role. There's no reason we can't have 2 of them!
I've always wanted to know how this would have looked if he kept the shoulder pads on, so it was more like the X-Men cartoon. Also Hasbro is going to announce this exact figure variation any minute, now that you've uploaded this video.
I've seen a few people say that Hasbro will make this version, but I think it's really hit or miss. They actually don't make that many MCU variants. And they never did release Thor from Love & Thunder with the bare arms. Which is weird because he was like that most of the movie, but Wolverine is only bare armed in the last quarter of the movie, though I think that's the version most people will want too.

That COULD work, but I think in the end I cut it a tad too short. The other arm actually didn't have the same issue, and I think it's because I left a little more on it. So I think polish or glue should have the same effect of putting a little back to make contact.
That's an interesting idea! I was thinking about a real easy/simple 3D printed design I could just print real quick. I might still do it, but for now I gotta move on to other videos!
Sorry, but I haven't. I think in the movie though we still don't see his neck much because it is still covered by the costume. Otherwise to swap to a flesh neck I think it would require a good bit of customization.
I just tried this trick for the arm swap tonight & it didn't work the pegs are to small on the figures arms I tried to used for the arm swap I tried gi joe classified & other wolverine figures
Sorry for late reply, but the skin tones match really well in my opinion! Because they aren't super close together it's that much harder to see a difference, but even besides that I don't see a ton of difference.
Just buy the manipple. I bought it from one sixt kit, 25 usd, free shipping. Im a client since 2015 and i have zero complaints with them. I highly recommend them. Anyway nice work.
Manipple is great! I got the Cavill Superman they did a bit ago and it's fantastic! I'm on the fence if I'll get their arms specifically since I already did this mod, but I think the arms they're making are a great option too.

Check your local comic book stores, they tend to sell figures at retail price. Found 97’ Gambit on a random day.

I've seen that too, but I'm not planning to do it since he doesn't have that in the movie.
Easiest way would probably be to just keep the shoulders from the D&W one (but creating a bit of a "t-shirt" look)

Maybe some polish or glue to thicken the peg a little for better friction?
That isnt needed, I did the mod also a different way and it has perfect friction

Use electrical tape on the arm joints. That way they aren’t loose when you rotate them.
