  • It's the smaller Multistrada Ducati isn't making. We ride MV Agusta's first tourer, the new Turismo Veloce 800, at the launch in France. Read our full review here: www.visordown.c...

A lot of you fellas did reviews on the Veloce after the France ride... this was the best review of the bunch. Short, concise, plenty of info without too much detail -- thoughtful opinions and comparisons. Thanks.

Test rode this at a great new to be dealership in Worthing and agree on a lot of points.
The main cribs where that vague clutch feel you mention and dont know if you noticed but when you go into sporty mode riding, i ride on balls of feet and felt my right heel catching on exaust cowling, forcing foot shape out at back( Size 10) which gave a cramped unbalanced feel on that side of bike, also felt brake pedal was to inset which added to right hand woes. Fueling was ok but bet bike you rode was unstrangled as uk mappings seems to be could have perhaps been a little smoother in places, wonder if that was case? Handles like a go kart, triple torque all the way, felt like i was back on a small FZ600. Could a MK11 tweaked be that little bit better ? Felt i was pivoting on seat without my pillion for test ride at 5"10 Seat height lowering a tad ? with pillion weight may drop a little, just would worry about dropping us! Shorter folk may be put off.Great first Effort MV !!

+Joseph Torres Saw that a lot of new dealers have sprung up seemingly overnight including the one you mention. Do you think there will be issues regarding lack of experiencing with servicing and after sales?

Not with the Worthing dealership. Owner has a lot of Italian exotica and experienced mechanics. It's how the bike makes you feel and fits. Always found first gen models improved soon after with little quirks ironed out. My best advice is test ride one for a good hour plus! Let us know your thoughts.

Looks and sounds a really good everyday useful bike. I will be interested to see how it stacks up against the Yamaha Tracer, Honda VFR800/Crossdresser- sorry Crossrunner and the Triumph 800 Tiger. The only downside I can see is the price. I think [for the base model], it needs to be about 1000 pounds less than the 12 grand asking price. The yam Tracer [against the others] seems to be the class leader so it will be interesting to see how the MV does.

the 20k pricetag is a bit frightening compaired to a Triumph tiger, but it is just as comfortable

Test or fake? Official video + some text. The question is - Have you had a chance to test it, to ride it in reality? It looks like compilation of the technical specs + some rumors + opinions. Dislike it

korshm Hi. Yes, of course we have ridden it. I was on the launch in France. The video includes footage of me riding it. Read the full review, with pictures of me riding it, at the link in the video description.
