Thry were never intimate until the earthquake happened ... that was the first time I saw them holding hands ... No hugging or kissing. What sort of affair were they having??? Just very curious or have I missed some of the intimste scenes. Even yuan yuan slept with lihai on the same bed and they're not even having any relationship.

The earthquake actually signaled the beginning of the end of the affair between lihai and xiaofei ... retribution was on it's way for lihai and also xiaofei particularly for lihai. His company went bankrupt but saved by Wuting and lawyer Lui xiaoyu ... Lihai's father passed away but on his deathbed he held lihai's and Wuting's hands and joined them together. It was Wuting who organized everything for the father's funeral and burial. So in reality lihai's bloody useless and needed Wuting to organise, help and save him and his life. If he and xiaofei couldn't see that they're either blind or idiots. In the first place he's in Bailu village to run away from the Chenghai's bankruptcy. Anyway where xiaofei's concerned .. she adopted nuinui to try keep lihai. She knew that lihai loved Yingzi a lot and she wanted to replace Wuting and Yingzi with her and nuinui. Deep in her heart as a woman she could feel that she could not replace Wuting and Yingzi. She's not confused as she told yuan yuan. She knew that Wuting was avery strong woman emotionally and knew what she wanted in life and still loved lihai ... she's no match for her. Lihai's also no match for Wuting. But then the thing that came into play most of all was that lihai's now an ordinary person not the successful, rich older businessman anymore. Would she be happy with that ??? Hence she was more hesitant than confused .... Wuting saved lihai again just like when they first met. That would play on his conscience.
It's totally a shame that the hubby can't value the wife and daughter more than the mistress. The wife has sacrificed so much more and even her life when that earthquake hit and she traveled to help him, but he was with his mistress. He left the company for her to clean up his dumpster fire and went off with the mistress. His wife and daughter were devastated. The wife cleaned up the mess and made the company profitable again. She should have married the nice lawyer or just stayed single. Once the mistress cut the hubby out and married another guy, he should have been left abandoned with nothing to show for his life. The wife should have cut her losses. Their shared loving past should have been bittersweet memories for both of him. He's proven that he will cheat on her and that hubby of the mistress should know about this too cause the new wifey is shown to cheat with married men. Bith women have daughters that they should have shown as better examples for them. The wife should have shown her dauggter not to take trash back but continue on for a better future with a better person and the mistress has shown her daughter that it's ok to cheat with married men as long as there are benefits. This guy was not worth it. Personally, i would beat both of them with my cast iron skillet and show them the door. If he came back, i'd call the cops. I don't take trash back. I heard it on another drama the wife told the hubby when she and the mistress got kudnapped at the same time and she pleaded with him to save her and the baby and he refused. He "saved" the mistress instead. She told him that " my life and our son's life aren't even worth the hair on your mistress's head." That's pretty accurate.

The ex-wife lived beautifully with the handsome 2nd ML who actually was a previous bf of hers from college. There's another one like it but I'm still looking for the name. There is another one called "My Wife" but the ex wife's revenge was to live a beautiful life with the younger, handsome 2nd ML. Karma did the cheating couple in. I still think the ex wife was too passive and nice but the karma was savage.

I'm sure older people watch the show like soap operas here in North America, so like when we were growing up watching our Grandma's "stories" with her, kids there probably do the same. Young boys only see the rewards of this behaviour. On that note, there have been a few good shows lately where the woman gets her HEA and the hubby is a big loser. Some that quickly come to mind are Alliance and Fearless. Also I'm seeing clips online of one that looks good called Deadly Women ( I think)
