So, pondering the “Leavening Effect “ of good vibes i.e. a positive attitude modifying the atmosphere of inquiry - perhaps the very subtle yet sublime affect of trust and belief in the powers of psyche aka consciousness are sufficient to open capacity in various ranges of frequency? Where as attitudes of skepticism, cynicism, disbelief foreclose same capacities?
Sleep paralysis and hypnogogia tends to occur eyes open. It's why people freak out with terror, feel they are unable to move in a locked in state, and react. Experiencing hallucinations doesn't occur eyes closed in sleep, it does occur in the hypnogogic state with eyes open. In other words hypnogogic hallucinations do not occur in an absolute sleep state (this would be the visionary states which occur in REM) but do occur in that state between sleep and awake generally with eyes open.

These X-Men (so called) powers do exist I am led to believe they may be somewhat genetic as I my sister and a cousin I work with have these abilities. I have these abilities from a child. I see things to come in short term ie a person shows up grabbing things before the fall of something ie cup, cellphone pencil an almost automatic action as well as other types abilities ie field fetching knowing thought of people around (ESP) ect. I believe if humans would end the things they were taught limiting their abilities to achieve this and just believe.

Hypnogogia as a state of relaxation and sensory deprivation? Do you mean that the state can impact or result in hypnogogia?
