- I wanted to do this a couple of months ago)). Here's Sonic Riders gameplay with no HUD and Blur effect. It's widescreen and captured in 1080p as always. I played as Sonic in Babylon Garden and used Blue Star II extreme gear.
Played using Dolphin emulator
Sonic the hedgehog, Sonic Riders belong to SonicTeam, SEGA.

Oh man I miss this game. I still remember playing as Eggman with the omnipotent scooter that allowed you to access every shortcut (speed, fly, and power). And since I was very good at maintaining my speed without wasting it, it was perfect for me.

oh god, glad I’m not the only one. the amount of times I yeeted myself or/and lost few extra seconds, to this day only pass it with going full break exactly at the edge of track…

I love Blue Star II.
I remember playing this stage, multiple times, in the Story Mode to practice grinding on rails while trying to get first place. When I was done with the stage my palm was literally raw after rotating the control stick so hard. ^^;

This Babylon garden was HARD af, I would restart this race track everytime eggmans' bots swoop right pass me 😑 lowkey I would think the AI in this game would teleport every small inch in a millisecond.

Sky Road was personally easier for me, although that's probably just because I had more experience by then.

There's a certain skill threshold you reach with this game where the computers become almost nonexistant to you because the lead you can get is so massive lol

Did you know that you can speed up on the slipstream when you ride it for the first time? I know the trick arrows do not show up, but you can still speed up by going to the sides of the slipstream and pressing the jump button. Your character will spin around and gain some speed. You can do this multiple times on the slipstream.

@PugDashLetsPlays The part where you get off that plane if someone is in front of you and there is turbulence where those boosters are at a top path is there this should help i hope.

How do you get this emulator to both look and run smoothly?
And what godlike specs do you need for it?
How did you turn off blur? I have the PC port of the game and if there is a file patch, than I could use it.

I could agree with the default gear that character is using while in the stage though.
@@mackenzierichardson7008 fastest combination in the game is AiAi with the high booster but it's a hard gear to get good with since it uses so much air when you boost

Normally the image on the sides and edges of the screen is blurred to give you a better sense of speed.

How do you remove the blue effect from the GameCube version on dolphin?
Projection hacks. They were removed from the emulator a long time ago. This video was made using a very old revision of Dolphin.
