I think Israel (as a democratic country )does care about hostages . But the first priority might be to make sure that October 7 will NEVER happen again. And it’s not that easy to rescue those hostages as Hamas cooperate with civilians or uN staff. Anyway, praying for all the hostages. Hope released hostages can be healed soon. . .

As a leader, any leader thinks about hostages, their conditions, and treatment but its not a priority. The cost of being a leader is decision making for the "Country", not an individual. Inhave no doubt that if the Israeli Government had hard, solid info on the location of hostages, they would sent resources to get them.
