Wearing relaxers & weaves in my youth kept me in a mentally oppressed state. God freed me from that, now my real hair has grown past my breasts. I never thought I was capable of this bc when I look back everytime I went to black salons they would always cut too much hair & wanted to straighten it. All reasons you stated is exactly why many bw can't grow their real hair long. They are their own biggest enemies.
Thank you, sis. All these toxic hair products we all use needs to be reviewed as well. I use apps to assess how 'clean' the products I use are and am horrified at the results I see. I need to switch to more natural products for sure. Your product line sounds great.
Hello sis. I just found your channel and subscribed. You're my kind of sister. Let me tell you a story: When I came from Haiti and moved to Brooklyn many years ago, our schoolteachers were comprised of several Jewish women at a school with mostly immigrant students from all over the world. I had a Jewish math teacher who according to her custom, started wearing wigs after she got married just like other married Jewish women I saw on the streets of Brooklyn. That was the extent of my knowledge about wigs: Orthodox and Hasidic women wear wigs when they get married.✔ Imagine my surprise and culture shock when I started expanding my circle by making African American friends after high school and I saw wigs on THEIR heads. I just couldn't process it. I was so confused. Unfortunately, it seems wigs and weaves have been part of the culture way before I moved to this country and our sisters' edges are paying the heavy price for it.
Hey Yasmine, Thanks for subscribing! I noticed the same thing about Jewish women when I was living in Hollywood. There are women that wear wigs for religious reasons or health conditions. Most black women, however, wear wigs for fun or because that's what they are used to. Some women are even afraid to wear their own hair which is something that needs to change. Black women are slowly waking up.
You are so funny “no I’m not causing you cancer “ this was so funny and truth sister I love this and social media doesn’t make it better I said I gotta fast from that stuff !
lol, thank you. I've been seeing ads to receive compensation if you've contracted uterine cancer because of hair relaxers everywhere lately. That stuff is no joke; it would be better for your health to let it go.

You're very honest for a black woman its a pity the rest don't listen to your words and the afro was made to protect the scalp from the sun in Africa
Thank you and thanks for sharing!
