Legendary drops are spiratic at best in depths but yes they are invokation loot. What I am finding even with the "data miner" % to drop legendaries is the fact that there is a more than suspicious amount of repetitive armor drops. For instance 3 days running I am only getting chest armor on first ancient and only chest or helm for turn in's (bounties, contracts). Anyone else see a rigged element to their playtime?
Hey idk if you know or not but I'd like to help you out. All members in warband can use the attack room now. Looked to me like your on protect, if you went to attack room you will gain more bonus damage and it's always active
I just got my alt into a functioning WB the end of last week. I'm trying to get my 1000 WB points so I can use the tableau, therefore I ran 10 purges yesterday. Solo - which is hard for that account - it's not like my main where I just breeze through mobs. It's a slog. Unfortunately, not one legendary piece of gear dropped. Not even one. 😐😐😐 To start with, getting no leggos after doing 10 purges really sucked bcz I am new into h8; and yes, I could use some upgrades since I did not pre-farm for my alt. Secondly, maybe ancestrals drop there, but only IF you can get a legendary to drop in the first place. And finally, WB drops are not guaranteed to be ancestrals (or dare I dream - invocations). Simply put, legendaries have to drop to begin with and additionally the need an ancestral property. The devil is in the details, I know. I dunno 'bout you, but purge is kinda boring. I typically do it right before I want to sleep, works better than hot milk. I have even fallen asleep while grinding the depths. So to do 10 purges (my alt is weak so each purge took at least 6 minutes and some as long as 15 mins), and then to not get even one leggo... seriously, ooooph. 🤨😏🙄😥😖😤 Especially when WB activities are supposedly the only place to get Ancestrals, except for Yakins. And post update, he only seems to be giving out naked legendariess, sans ancestral, invocation or cursed bonuses. I keep hearing go purge if you want ancestrals. Ya, I tried that. Looks like I'll be dying there. Uhmmmm.... I doubt it's that easy. I suspect this is going to be like green drops used to be prior to the introduction of crafting . You know, run 35 dungeons, and not even one set item dropped. However, getting ancestrals is an added layer of RNG beyond simply getting a drop. You need a drop which also has an Ancestral Property. Bet finding that stun one will be rarer than hens teeth. I seriously wonder sometimes if Bliz even wants people to play DI, bcz they certainly make it quite torturous & painful, unnecessarily so. 😐😐😐
This is exactly the same as my experience of ancestral and invocation drops there, plus how long it takes to solo when first in H8. Had no luck at Yakins either yet. I haven’t been spending a whole lot there, wondering if the Leggos are limited in the same way as you get diminishing returns on gold
Tbh this is low on the totem pole for me I’m purely f2p so grinding gear is best for me since I’m not dropping tuns of cash on legendary gems. So we f2p have to grind n don’t have time for trivial stuff
I ran these things in warband all the time(like probably 20,30 times purging, and defending gate )and didn't get ancestors' gear....yea I think I will try Poe on my ps ...f this
The ancestral tableau is very dumb and confusing. I don’t understand the max stat, only top 4 weapons count-so wtf is the point of all the other weapons? I have taken weapons out-just to test how my character’s stats were affected-and nothing changed…yet when I change warbands, my stats were changed until I unlocked it again. And the description Blizzard gives makes absolutely no sense! Why is it so hard to just put descriptions bluntly? I swear…
