15 months part time study is a bit excessive. Most people who study for CA1 whilst working will do so in one of the half-yearly sittings without sitting any other exams, preferably the long sitting (April) which gives you 7 months.

I believe CA1 has changed to CP1 (39 chapters).

wowtrax 15 months is just an average. lots of students battle with CA1 and some only pass it after a few attempts

Are the Exam syllabi and difficulty level the same globally?
+Abhyuday Tewari they are supposed to be but some people in South Africa feel the English exams are easier.
