    I'm about to write CA1 for the second time (1st time was in Honours and I didn't get the exemption unfortunately). I have faith that your videos will help a great ton. I will be back with great news MJ!

    I believe CA1 has changed to CP1 (39 chapters).

    15 months part time study is a bit excessive. Most people who study for CA1 whilst working will do so in one of the half-yearly sittings without sitting any other exams, preferably the long sitting (April) which gives you 7 months.

      wowtrax 15 months is just an average. lots of students battle with CA1 and some only pass it after a few attempts

      +MJ the Student Actuary I forgot to include processing time. That normally takes an extra 20 minutes

    Are the Exam syllabi and difficulty level the same globally?

      +Abhyuday Tewari they are supposed to be but some people in South Africa feel the English exams are easier.

      @@MJtheFellowActuary when u say English exams, you mean IFoA exams? so IFoA exams are easier than SOA exams?
