  • Filmed in 2018. Having been at this hospital countless times trying to find an allergy related to a skin problem, I just had to ride those lifts which were very close to the dermatology department. These are older lifts that have been modernised by Lift Services South Wales. I like the mod, as they have included a voice that speaks both English and Welsh! And the lifts have a really smart interior - very smart for hospital lifts!

It is very common to see Welsh speaking lifts in Welsh government controlled buildings such as Hospitals, Schools, Museums and etc... my secondary school lift actually has a Welsh and English voice. And it’s extremely loud, I can always hear it from the hallway outside my class, and I hear it often since my classroom is on the upstairs.

They seem pretty generic to my eyes and ears, although that voice is definitely custom. By the way, were you ever in the lifts at the Swansea Travelodge? They're some nice Ecodiscs, but they're in pretty bad shape.

Yeah, they are generic, but I quite like them. I haven't been to Swansea, and I don't really have plans to go. Have you got a video of those Ecodiscs?

@@lovelifts1736 I haven't (I've never ever filmed or even gone abroad in my life), but ZZ9 Productions has. His video can be found on his channel, if you just look in his "Kone Lifts/Elevators" playlist and scroll to towards the end.
