You have to update it again every after the recent update I have the 5.5.2 and it showed to update it again and said field finds(really this time) if you can find it just re update it

Lost everything I had because I uninstalled the game thinking I'd be fine cause I was signed in to Facebook

Sign back into Facebook when you reinstall it to get all your progress back. It does save it when you sign into Facebook but when you delete the game and reinstall it your progress will be gone until you sign back into Facebook.
