Would be nice to see Marner waive his no trade to go to Nsh for Saros & Dman all hypothetical but Leafs need a proven goalie to play alongside Woll as he is so injury prone.

Very unlikely the Jets trade a piece like Perfetti for a potential bottom role defenseman and a low draft pick.
Give it up about Perfetti. Chevy was very excited to draft him and Cole has never once shown any dislike towards Wpg. He’ll be back in the top 6 next fall. If you want rumours about Wpg go with Ehlers. He has 1 yr left on his contract and has shown nothing in the playoffs. I can definitely see Chevy looking to move him.
There has been zero trade rumours out of Wpg regarding Perfetti. He appears happy in Wpg and with Bowness now retired he will get an opportunity under a different coach to show his worth as a top 6 forward. That said, he will need to improve his start up speed and put just a wee bit of bite in his game to be more successful. He does show potential to become a 30-30 player in a year or 2.
The Jets are in win now mode. So it's hard to see a defenseman on the MTL prospect pool or roster who could come in and play top-4 minutes. Unless I'm missing something...
Jets aren't interested in prospects who still need a year or 2 to marinate.
Matheson is a 60 point guy who logged top 5 minutes as a dman in the entire league. I’m sure he’d fit the bill
@mikeking9696 possibly. But not unless there's term on his contract. Jets would need him locked up for 4 or 5 years, at least, to be interested in Matheson. I agree. He's a good player. I think Chychren from Ottawa would be a better fit - get him in a sign & trade.

No Woll equals Boston win.
Vegas shut down the Dallas rush first and then shut down their goal line and trapezoid play substantialy. In the losses, Vegas kept trying to move the puck up the boards. Game 6 they were out of their zone more quickly. The extended zone time for Dallas had chances limited out to perimeter. They cleared out front of goal much better. DOWN WITH DALLAS!!!

The playoffs are a different game than regular season where Jets could goon it up more to get wins. It makes a difference.
