Nearly ten years ago, Yellowcard saved my life.... I've been through so much, and this record is the best thing I've ever heard. This record makes all the pain, and hospital stays worth it... This record makes me happy to be alive. I love you Yellowcard.
I have been listening to Yellowcard for eight years now and was surprised to have mixed feelings when I first listened all the way through. That didn't last long. The second time through I found myself saying, "This album is incredible." I have had a chance to watch this band grow throughout these last eight years and they never disappoint me. Ten is the most beautiful song they have ever written in my opinion. Underdog for life.
God i can't believe i can still love a band so much after all these albums. They never conformed to trends or tried to impress people they didn't need to impress. Nor did they ever stay stagnant, just kept growing at a nice pace. Yellowcard just does what yellowcard does. It's such a statement and I love them for that.
I don't want to say this is their best album so far, but it's really something special. Ten is such an amazing song. My favorite YC song to date no doubt. This is what real music sounds like.
Tears stream down my face when I listen to "Ten." I wonder if it's a true story that Ryan or one of the guys experienced. Judging by the honesty of their lyrics, I naturally assume it is, but it is just so heart-wrenching that I would really like to wish it wasn't a real life experience. It's just too sad. Thanks so much for your beautiful music, Yellowcard! ♥

Stoked. It seemed yesterday when I was listening for the 1st time to "rough landing, holly" (the first song for me). I was literally wiped out emotionally. It took like the time of that song for me to get all their albums and fall in love with them. Since then, it's always got better and better and I can't thank them enough for beign such an amazing band. Thanks guys for writing the soundtrack of my life.

Yellowcard is going to go so mainstream with the song "Here I Am Alive". It is "pop" enough to be played on the radio. I listen to pop radio everyday and I can just tell, in this day in age, that song fits perfectly and will be the next radio-friendly hit. Looking forward to hearing Yellowcard on 94.1, 96.7, and 99.7 next time I am in the car!
The whole album is excellent! YC is such a great band , and even though I like every song , I think "Surface Of The Sun" tells not just the sound of this album but the sound of YC since the begining until this moment
