    In Denmark we have never ever celebrated Chrismas, we have allways celebrated Jul

    Misteltoe is magical. It killed the Norse God Balder.
    Sacrificing pigs (not goats - this is Denmark after all) is quite practical when you do not have enourgh fodder to feed them until spring.
